but if it was a 15", then it loses it's attractiveness already...

there's tonnes of 15" with 9600M GT/9650M GT in the market back then...
*
Yup, agree with this...if the S42 should have been S52 then, there are a lot of other various choices to pick from icon_idea.gif..well, that the beauty of 14" laugh.gif..

Then sell off your S42, or trade with a better one with the like of Y460,N82Jv or maybe N61Ja...those sure can play MW2 with extra high setting also whistling.gif...

Another way would be, using a Linux CD and boot from it..then, delete the partition using Linux, clean all the partition nod.gif

i thought about it.. but it would void da warranty.. i sked later i go benq say wanna fix da battery problem.. but he say warranty void.. den how..

this is da very last resort i could think of lah..

btw im swapping back with kabadi anyways.. just gotta make this lappy working again den swap back..

iirc, only the HDD warranty is VOID when you take out the HDD (example, changing the HDD)...the others would still be under warranty nod.gif

i think it's  juz some settings problem during Windows installation...

but i dun remember having the option of dynamic partition.. .hmm.gif

Yup, this can only be done within Window...you cannot choose it to be Dynamic in installation nod.gif...well, Batusai already said that he change the partition from Primary to Dynamic, which causes the Window cannot boot laugh.gif..

yay.. boot up back edi..

Added on April 19, 2010, 1:54 pmokay now.. its boot up edi.. i delete the rest of the partition now.. but the primary partition is still in dynamic..

so.. any idea?? im thinking of reformatting again.. install OS to the unallocated partition den delete the primary partition
*
Well, this can do ok....maybe you can try to delete the boot partition first, see if can or not...if cannot then straight away go install another OS, and then delete the old one nod.gif

And yes, like astria said..i3 & i5 got higher score because of HTT...still on par with C2D in raw processes..

dang.. i deleted the parititon in windows.. and allocated it.. but its back to dynamic disk.. cant choose the option revert back to basic disk lah..
*
Just delete it and no need to allocated it...just let it be 'free space'...when you formatting, then you can choose it for your boot partition smile.gif

Delete it again and no need to allocate it sweat.gif...should be in black color when not allocated smile.gif...
