Hi guys.. I want to share some ugly experience with a Bright Silver Forte at USJ awhile ago, approximately 8pm. Me and wifey are having dinner in Simon's Place (USJ Taipan) The restaurant was quite full with customer.. got kids and baby also. This bugger .. went inside his forte and honk so loud!

1. For goodness sake, the owner of the honda city (having his dinner in the restaurant) saw u go inside the car oredi fast fast grab the keys and move  towards his car. Do u have to honk so many times and so loud? Did u notice alot of ppl in the restaurant staring at you and cursing?

2. Dont need to show off, just a Kia Forte, not a Ferrari.. Be consideratelah.. honk once is enough.. Sumore reverse that time keep rev the engine.. Blardy hell.. the number plate is WTM 8**5.

If u r a member of this forum, I hope u dont do this kind of idiotic things la.. ur lucky ppl didnt throw stuff at ur new car. Anyway I'm not trying to create a flame war here, but too let the owner of this particular car to learn his manners.
*
Shame on that attention-seeking-bugger. Can't stand ppl like that . Let's hope he reads this and learn.

Added on April 9, 2010, 11:53 pmtoday when i collected my car i coincidentally touch push start button when cruising around 80 km/h but nothing happen wow i think the engine will be off
*
Not at that speed. Maybe 15km/h or less, I forgot. Anyway, u cant's even unlock the door when the car's moving. Which could be a pro or a con. U cant escape when u r being kidnapped . ...hahahahah. Ladies, the best would be wind down the window and throw the remote key outta the window. Then press the start/stop button , run for your life when the car comes to a stop.. tongue.gif

It would have given out a long beep the second your wife walked away from the car.

Exactly, I just can't stand people who degrades other people's car. If it isn't jealousy , then I don't know what it is. Cannot afford, then say it's no good. Sour grapes.

jenn, you tell your friend. His "milo tin" definitely can fly since it's light. I chose Forte cos it's easy on the eyes, easy on the pocket , impeccable specs , great features and safe , not because it can outrun other cars. Those childish kids have a lot of growing up to do.

Actually when distance to empty about 60km-70km, the petrol light already solid and so scary. I don't dare to wait till distance to empty 30km. really don't dare. anyone dare?
*
You are right. I don't know what they will get if they managed to overtake others. Just the cheap thrill which is really not worth it. They can kill themselves if they want (good riddance to bad rubbish anyway) but don't endanger the innocent road users. But I think most (not all) Forte owners won't like to appear in the newspaper for the wrong reasons.

if you remove about 150kg worth of stuff from the forte (say, the spare wheel, tools, the backseat) you will probably get the same fc as the vios........... biggrin.gif

And if I lose more weight, FC might even rival Kancil's... rclxms.gif

i remember when i was planning to get a car few months ago..i went to the T and H showroom..to test drive the V and C..at that time i dun know about forte yet..until the SA of the T told me "vios is better than forte..no 2nd hand value, no pick up, naza, kia, untrusted brand.." wtf is forte??never heard of it..

then out of curiosity, i went to the Kia Showroom to take a look at forte and test drive...my god..with this price..the feeling was so different..why in the hell the T and H keep bashing KIA when people come to them to buy car?

its true forte might lose some criteria compared to TV and HC, but when we look at the package the KF offered..its no brainer.
*
In a way, the T salesman sold you a Forte...padan muka dia.. haha

I test drove City and Civic about 4 times , still undecided, I test drove Forte once, I bought it. T doesn't stand a chance with me at all. Need I say more?
