i test drove the forte 1.6sx and felt a bit underpower. the SA was good enough to let me drive using any route that i want to and i took a new highway here in my place that is uphill and while the engine was struggling, still the pedal seems like hit the max already. the worse is i forgot to test the shiftronic at that time..

comparing to my focus 2.0, no doubt focus is more powerful and responsive, since i'm comparing orange to apple (2.0 vs 1.6), however what i like about the forte the most is the design, both exterior and interior, and also the shiftronic is way responsive compared to focus one.
focus shiftronic is lagging compared to the forte.

act i wanted to get a lower CC car so thats why i tested the forte. i like it more than other car that i'd test drove like city, vios, swift, mazda2.. at the end of the day, i make a booking for white forte 1.6sx with bodykit.

now waiting to get the bank approval (they said tomorrow should be approved!) and if everything goes to the plan (bank side) then i'll get the car on wednesday or thursday! really really cant wait!!

yups i like it very much also but i've been using it for some time already and i guess it's time for a new challenge. yes it's a real challenge for me coz from 2.0 to 1.6 but i guess and i hope i can adapt

some more the name not differ much. FORd --> FORte

+ free tinted.

for the body kit i add them on for rm4200 that includes 3 stabilizer bar from Ultra racing. actually i calculated the cost and it's cheaper if i bought it myself (the same bodykit from 3rd party costed rm2100 inclusive of paint, the UR stabilizer bars cost approximately rm9xx for 3 bars) but i want it ready straight away when i collected the car .. hehe

yups rm800 discount. erm the free tinted is ac cool only if i'm not mistaken.. definitely not the top brands like 3M or v-kool etc.. hehe

i went to two Kia's (or naza) in Serdang and Sunway and both of them couldnt give anything (discount / free gift)

so i went back to my trusted used car dealer and asked him to arrange for me for a brand new forte (since i need his help to trade in my focus as well) and that is what he offers me.. he even gave the Kia Seremban boss number if let say i want to negotiate more but i guess that is good enough for me ..


thanks mate! of course but while i cant wait for it to reach i still have this kind of dilemma becoz this gonna be my first time using Korea's car. My cousin's experience with Kia Rio is a nightmare when she's trying to sell the car..

but forte is a damn nice looking car and i dont want to spoil my time with her by thinking of her future resale value

my bank loan has been approved! thank god the bank do the job real fast. submit the document this morning, 10am got 'phone interview' by bank and now just approved!

hopefully KIA delivers her promised saying the car will be ready in 2-3 days after loan approve ..

it's Ambank. the interest rate is 3.5%. haha definitely not rich else i dont need loan anymore haha..

neway most probably bcoz my previous 3 cars also using Ambank loan. so my payment record made easier for them. i guess so..

just wanna ask around..

is the unpleasant seat sound and alignment issue happens to all forte?

my car is now at tinted shop.. the voucher for tinted is only rm200 .. lolz.. so i topup another rm800

my car got problem with the ESP.. it keep changing to off after i switch it on. by default it should be always on, but mine is off. even when i switch it to on, it will turn to off again after sometime..

thats how it suppose to work. if it lights on it is OFF. by default it should be ON and there's no light
