QUOTE(jason_tee @ Apr 8 2010, 10:34 AM) To be honest, Ecotint not really that good. The price is expensive but the quality ok only. The higest package of their are 2k not safety tint some more, if safety need to add extra. My parent City took Ecotint highest tint + safety, still can feel the heat of the sun little bit, cool down is slower. Whereby my previous saga took Solar Gard, price cheaper almost 1k, way much better than Ecotint. I'm damn regret I took Ecotint for my Forte, the voucher just 200 discount, should have go back to Solar Gard, shouldn't greedy for that discount.... How much did you pay for your tint? I did mine with Ecotint also and so far the tinting film is excellent. Compared with my friend's H City using V-Kool Elite, i can feel mine is cooler leh. Both parking under hot sun at the same place.Just that the sand blasting is small nitpicking issue. |

Which BHP u were at?Added on April 10, 2010, 3:50 pm QUOTE(miet @ Apr 10 2010, 10:26 AM) Seems like NAZA is starting to expedite their pace on delivering cars to customers. You can set the radio to have speed sensing - mean volume wil go louder when car is going faster. More & more bookers are getting their cars. This is indeed encouraging. Regarding our audio setting, can someone tell me what is the best setting listening to music & songs? Bass? Middle? Treble? Fade?...etc Check ur radio. QUOTE(wsd3m0n @ Apr 21 2010, 06:05 PM) I got that from kspec, rm110 Thanks for your feedback It is good quality, but it seems like not 100% fit (a bit tight) with our key. If you read previous post, our key (after 1st batch) all button stick together. Only 1st batch owner has button that siren is separated. Hello, so anyone with 1st batch keys able to use this properly? My panic button is separate from the other buttons... |

QUOTE(PhilHellmuth @ Apr 21 2010, 10:26 PM) Hahaha.... actually u can't compare a B and C segment cars. FC for forte may be higher now due to 1) engine not fully break in yet 2) members cargasm so right foot heavier... 3) running short runs to give friends + family test drive... So for fair comparison, look for any cars in the same class. Like Altis, Civic, Sentra or Sylphy but price wise is big difference. |

QUOTE(PhilHellmuth @ Apr 23 2010, 10:21 AM) sigh ... so divided now. Like i said earlier, you're sounding very much like toyota fanboy Went to Toyota showroom yest to look at the facelift Vios ... As expected, the sales manager bashed Forte a lot - mainly on 2nd hand value and durablility after 5 yrs ... - many problems konon .. Den he compared with Spectra 2nd value after 6 yrs only 11k . Sigh ...... If your heart is towards the dugong and high resale value i guess u will want to change car every 2-3 yrs and race the dugong like madman. Go for vios then. |

QUOTE(ezzydamvp @ Apr 23 2010, 11:20 AM) I have decided i wanna get forte soon...but my budget for monthly is rm750 and below and a 10K downpayment... Hello, glad that you've made the forte choice so can any of u guyz suggest me which model should i get? but i like the one with white and with BK If you can stretch ur RM then SX has better equipment for your money (keyless start.. etc) but if you don't need all those tech then EX is better option for u. Added on April 23, 2010, 11:26 am QUOTE(lvd @ Apr 23 2010, 11:23 AM) vios is good.. uncle aunty also like it.. when people ask u drive wat car.. means is old ppl level oredi? u say.. toyota.. wow...level difference already... QUOTE(coolxcool @ Apr 23 2010, 11:44 AM) Ya..you should go for T. They didn't get the "good" from Insurance Institute of Highway right after launch,..i'm sure they are not far away since that dugong already out for so long..they'll be there anytime soon. To think about high resale value of T or H cars, i spoke to some 2nd hand dealers and they say it's not specific to brands. It's depending on the demand for a SPECIFIC MODEL only... so assuming that the altis or civic has good resale value, it may not be the same case for CT or Dugong. of coz their resale value is very good after 5 yrs. any other cars only cost around 30- 50% of the car price after 5 years, maybe T cars can still have 60% or even 80% of original price?? but make sure dont speed too much on road, otherwise i'm not sure the driver can survive to sell their car after involved in major accident.. T also has a "longer lasting" chasis i bet. Forte has the full body anti rust coating maybe T is using far superior anti rust material that the car will still look like out of show room after 5 yrs. I think Forte or Kia or even other manufactures are way behind T technology. Auto push start, key less entry, ECS, 6 air bags, shiftronics with 4 manual speed, anti glare reflection mirror are NOTHING compared to T technology. For so many years non of the cars had the AUTO Acceleration features..BUT the T cars know how to evolve and surprise users.. we still got a long way to go to compete... Last i think Forte suites AH BENG or FENG TOU ppl better, coz everyone seems to enjoy blasting song off their OEM audio system..Vios is much better, playing full blast on the audio wont feel like head banging... DOnt think anymore. Go get your Vios... You will try not to regret it. Look at the CT with CVT gearbox, H brand maa but gearbox problematic.. still good value ka? |
