Think first time I posted here after reading whole v5 until now v6 d. U guys really siao, every few mins got posts..... I booked my 2.0 from NAZA TTDI mid march and my SA say the next batch of 2.0 will only arrive in malaysia in May . All the current 2.0 here is currently being allocated to the first batch of bookers. My SA also told me that Naza will only start roll out real CKDs here in Sept. And I really really admire those people who book in NOV/ DEC 09, you guys champion, so bersabar..... hahaha..... I wait almost 1 month while reading this forum also can't tahan d.

Just want to ask any other forumers here that booked later..ie. February onwards whether they got their car already or any indication from their SA's when they will get their 2.0? Please share...

I just sms my SA, she reply say tak ade also... can anyone confirm that really got such freebies ah?

Got another question, if i fix the BK (from Derrick), put mudflaps will look weird or not? If don't fix mudflaps.....might have a problem on rainy days with mud all over a white car.

What???? Really got defects ah? Did you complain and ask them to rectify since few months only? Actually I did quite a lot of research and plan to get Ecotint d..... but now ... Btw, is the defects quite bad?

Maybe should re-consider Llumar now... but a bit more expensive I think (now even have the paladdium or something like that)

Any of you checked whether your Forte is rusting underneath your car recently? There seems to be quite a number of claim (refer www.kiafortemalaysia.com forum) that the anti-rust sprayed(black substance) under the Forte is not done properly (apparently for all the Forte on the road.)

So guys,

Please check the next time your service your car or bend down and have a look. This is a serious defect and if the car start rusting now and left to rust...... we will face a lot of problems later. As usual, Naza played the... 1) they din't know about the issue (isolated case) followed by 2) Its not covered under warranty and now stage 3) Highlight to management (no decision yet)

Wow urs are as bad as mine..

To all Forterians is confirm that whether is CBU or DkD the anti rust coating is as such and are not
fully completed as i went over to my SA this afternoon to check on the test drive unit which was
registerd 09 and bend down to check and found out is all the same..

As what Fattzeai commented to send a complain to Naza Hq with rgds to the above issue and better
still if anyone knows anybody from Naza Hq whom can take this issue to the right person..

If this a technical recall so be it as all fortes will be effected and i can assure you that if u leave
it with only the original paint your beloved Forte undercarriage will NOT last more than 3 to 5 yeras
before eaten up by RUST worse still if those whom is staying nearby the seaside..

So pls do ur part by snapping a few photos of your car and file a complain to Naza Hq as to pressure
them to come up with some compensations..

For me alone sending the complains to Naza may be a isolated case for them to ignore but if all Forterians
whom are effected to do so will be a substantial issue for Naza to solve..

Of coz can do outside for $$$$$$, most important thing here that this is a defect, some forumers already started to complain to Naza to see what is their feedback on this.

IMHO, we should make enough noise and complain to ensure Naza rectifies this defect (btw...this isnt a recon car...its a new car). I will check mine as soon as I get my Forte and complain to Naza until they rectify it.

Just imagine if you guys plan to drive this car for at least 5 years ( I plan too).... (Naza only cover us 2 years) so they wouldn't care when the rust sets in after the 2 years..... (resale value sure kns d)

Most people in this forum is very happy with their car now, however...please do think of the future too..... with all the squeky noise reported, bad anti-rusting job reported just in few months....what do you think will happen after 2 years?

So all forumers here please unite and check under your car.... and make an official complaint to Naza so that they do rectify this "defect". We certainyly would need the numbers to make an impact. I suspect that the anti rust job is done in Malaysia....not the Koreans....

Me too still waiting for bloody Bermaz cheque for 2k...now to think about it ...so glad they screwed up with the M2 specs and miscommunication/ test market/ con job about EBD+BA.... now get a better car

And thats not the worst part, the new "K"emblem car I ordered from Ebay reached me 2 weeks ago d... my 2.0 whitey still no news........... I paid my full downpayment 2 weeks ago too....

Latest I heard from SA today is Naza think they can solve the 2.0 issue by end of this week for 2nd bacth maybe can get next week d. I booked from TTDI branch.

I just called Naza Careline today and SA (TTDI branch) on my booking. Looks like both saying the same thing, Naza is trying to register the 2.0 as CKD for the first time and Kastam is dragging their feet on purpose (you guys should know why).

Told my SA....if this is gonna take months... going to change to 1.6 liao

June earliest?????/

My SA say wait till end of this week. I need the car liao this month.

Looks like not fated for the 2.0 .

Will wait until end of this week like my SA advise. If still Kastam stall, then will make arrangements to change to 1.6 d.

Actually just now when I spoke to my SA, I told her.... Naza settled the CKD 1.6 with the same solution...i.e pay $$$$$$ ....so bloody hell just use $$$$ to settle Kastam for CKD 2.0 la...wait what somemore? Naza hoping for discount from Kastam in line with the next Malaysian sale ar???

For other brothers (and sisters )who booked the 2.0 and din't get the car, please start to put some pressure on Naza d. Unless all so patient for Naza to get discount from Kastam during the next Malaysian sale.
