hey bro and sis, need ur advise a bit out of topic thing. it already 2 weeks i hand over my old car to my SA when i take my forte. but to the surprise, i call up my old car bank and found out my loan is not settle yet, and my SA keep on saying the dealer(where he pass the car to) already settle the loan. what should i do? report to police?

Based on my experience, dealers will not settle the loan - the next buyer of your car will - by the settlement date - thats why they need your car asap so that they can recover their downpayment to your SA if you have asked for that to offset your selling price with the settlement amount.

My (no-longer-ex)SA still has my loan locked at 2.9%, and still kept my JPJ receipt for the plate number which i bought months ago. So tomorrow, I'm going down to settle my full d/payment ... and hopefully next week can testdrive a Forte for the first time and take it home.

Here're the pics of the 1.6SX (actually passed to me from toyotarave last night) with the tint when we both went to the shop last Saturday. Apparently only cost <RM1k with the specs below

FWS: Dark Grey, 2 mil, VLT 72%, UVR 99%, IHR 95%
RWS: Dark Grey 2 mil, VLT 62%, UVR 99%, IHR 95%

I too received a SMS from my SA on the promo -

Purchase Forte/Rondo/New Facelifted Sportage will enjoy FOC 1 unit 32" LG LCD TV and 1st year insurance. Purchase Picanto and Citra and enjoying FOC 1 unit Samsung Digital Camera and 1s year insurance. Further information pls call XXXXX @ xxxxxxxxxxxxx. Open for booking now.

Sounds like its for all Forte range but may be just clever copywriting to entice ppl to go - maybe only for Forte EX only.

Anyhow if it applies to all Forte models, the LCD TV may be RM1399 in value and for those with already 55% NCB should then get to save RM1K+ so total should be RM2.4K discount. Not bad then

My SA called - promo applies to all Forte models for free LG 32" LCD TV and 1st yr insurance - funny they did not mention this in the poster

This promo applies to all bookings received during the the Nazakia Fiesta event at Shah Alam Stadium tomorrow and Sunday. I asked about whether there are any Forte accessories on sale but he replied he is not aware of it. Yesterday all the branch SAs attended a briefing in the evening in Naza HQ when I called him on this

Was at USJ1 Mydin - saw one white WTK xxxx driving out to main road - on the way back also crossed path with another white at USJ2 area but could not see the number - nice to see several fellow Fortezens on the road today

Some trade-offs - if I had waited till this (actually thought way back in March that a promo would be on) - I may have saved RM2K plus - but I may have to lose $$ on my traded-in car in value (around RM 1.5K and also the 0.5% per yr interest = 2.5% of loan overall around RM1.5k as well)
