hey bro and sis, need ur advise a bit out of topic thing. it already 2 weeks i hand over my old car to my SA when i take my forte. but to the surprise, i call up my old car bank and found out my loan is not settle yet, and my SA keep on saying the dealer(where he pass the car to) already settle the loan. what should i do? report to police?

Based on my experience, dealers will not settle the loan - the next buyer of your car will - by the settlement date - thats why they need your car asap so that they can recover their downpayment to your SA if you have asked for that to offset your selling price with the settlement amount.

Guys (and Gals) - just to let you know I am handing my car to my good friend KLHC1964 (maybe you will meet him soon in upcoming TTs) as I was informed by my management that I was selected for secondment to an overseas post beginning May 2010. KLHC1964 has liked my car so much that it's only natural for me to let him continue paying the instalments till completion, but I shall still be visiting this great forum time to time, until we meet again, have a great and safe ride in the lovely FORTEs - now to my other things at hand - passport, work permit application........

my trade in car price is just nice to settle the bank loan, so i didnt use the settlement amount to pay for the D/P for my new car.
but then if the car is not sold in short period to new owner.....then my bank will still chase me for the monthly loan payment???

Plan to do my 1st 1k services - will go to SC in Setapak - c how theirs. Then, might plan to go Naza Galaxy, look c look c, recce, bargain price, any promotion etc. My SAs said whateva price they give, tell him and he will try to bargain it on my behalf. Well, we'll c.

for after market wheel caps, all sorts of designs available, some pure sticker, some are just ABS cover sticked on to a cap. there's one type whole cap moulded with logos n painted. hope can find this type... tahan lama

but in short they are just a piece of plastic, no metal at all.

Guys, just collected my Forte yesterday. Everything seems ok, no yik yik sound, din notice any alignment issue, car response was good, bla bla bla.......but then I found out 2 major problem

1. The door on the front passenger seat is malfunction. I can't open the door from the inside.
2. The wiper is overshoot and hit the edge of my windshield.

I've called my SA and addressed the issue to him. Since I am busy this few days, i will only be able to send my car for repair this weekend.

Hehe luckily the SA is my close friend. If not i think i will taruk kao kao.... . Btw issue no 2 does cause problem to me, bcoz it will create annoying sound when it hits on the edge of the windshield.

Hi .. remember me. Last month, I deserted Forte 2.0 after 3 and half months waiting and cancelled my booking.

Yesterday 6th April was exactly 4 months after my booking which I cancelled last month. The car that I booked arrived at my dealer yesterday. Me ex-SA SMS(ed) me. So I just stopped by to see her for the first time and to wish her goodbye ... to be handed over to the next booker in queue. TitSilver, dust dirty after travelling 460km on truck, only 11 km on ODO. I sat in it ... play2 with its superlight MDPS steering, played the music loud, press2 the leather seat, touch2 the cruise control button, turn(on) its auto-climate aircon. Couldn't testdrive it though coz it's in the back stock yard.

Didn't experience CARgasm .. nor did I fall in luv with it's looks again. Just a simple feeling of appreciation of a well-spec and clean designed car ... whom i 've once had a crush and willing to wait since early Disember.

After much sensible thinking overnight, phoned my ex- SA just now and said ... " I still want her". The next booker will just have to wait for his white 2.0 next month.

My (no-longer-ex)SA still has my loan locked at 2.9%, and still kept my JPJ receipt for the plate number which i bought months ago. So tomorrow, I'm going down to settle my full d/payment ... and hopefully next week can testdrive a Forte for the first time and take it home.

maybe the wiper instaled wrong side left n rite?

Ohh heck, I'll just spill the beans. I cancelled my booking last month coz I 'm 'forced' or 'coerced' into selling my 2003 vios 1.5 G for only RM30K to a family member. Felt 'serabut' at the time and thought might as well drive the vios until caputtt ..

Actor guy sending his beautiful Girl friend to KLIA Airport. Girlfriend is going to very far country for something and not going come back for years. The Camera start shooting in the car "Dugong" . Guy actor was shouting" 10years!!" then they start quarreling and arguing . Then they stop..both of them lookout opposite car window. ..At same time..Actor Girl just have a flash back sweet memories with Actor Guy..Then Actor Guy also have a Flash back sweet memories with Actor Girl...but during the flash back memories is testing Kia Forte with Actor girl. They have fun...and finally put the booking at Naza with happy face..The during flash back memories moment the Guys get a call and shouting at the phone..: " How long we have..waited..Cant you doing right. How long ....hello..helloo(SA put up the phone)" Actor Girl comfort Actor guy scene comes in..

Very Fast when they reach KLIA ..all the flash back gone..Coming to reality..The scene show Actor Guy and Girl hugging each other and Actor girl cry...Actor guy take out the hankie and wipe the girl tears off..They talk and comfort each other(Shooting from Far angle).." Last call for flight MHXXX..please report to Gate XXX... Then come in the sad music...showing the both hand n is holding but reluctant to let it go...and then finally at last they let it goes..

Guy drive back from KLIA..During the driving...A Huge Advertisement billboard KIA Forte....Den den den..sweet music Flash back of sweet memories...but now show more on Kia forte....And then Actor Guy is crying...sorry not cry...tears...coming out slowly from his eyes.. He wipe out his tears ...He cannot tahan...and rev kaw kaw on his acc pedal ...Camera shoot from the back of Dugong back side and car gone..

Guess wat...he drive to Naza show room..The walk up into customer counter...his SA come out and show Actor Guy the Kia Forte he has booked...SA then pointed to Another customer who was receiving a key by another SA..
Then Actor Guy watch it his booked forte drive out by another customer..Scene show disappointed face of Actor Guy..

Ending ....Camera change position...now shooting at Kia Forte slowly moving upward ..still shoot at (With SG Glow or pps)Beautiful...Kia Forte....
