Rondo is my 2nd KIA car. And i still keep my 1st KIA car.. KIA Spectra for my wife.. NO problem at all.. It is going to 6 years old.. Normal wear and tear
1.) Cooling coil changed M 340
2.) bearing 1 pair (front) changed RM 240
3.) Driver shaft (1 pair) changed RM380
4.) power steering main paip due to broken RM 180

Break pad all this no need to mention la..

How much is Japanise car part on the above.. So, who said Korean car spare part is expensive?

Take Forte... Is a trend..

It says Better performance of carburetor car.. Our car is EFI leh.. Isware type is carburator lah..You sure is suitable for modern engine?

I haven tested on Forte 1.6 or 2.0 shifttronic (i assume it is the same with Rondo) But, my Rondo 2.0 Theta. I do feel that the shifttronic is 1 sec delay when i down shift from 4th to 3rd gear. I only use it when driving on trunk road for overtaking purposes.. As, i seldom use it.. will further confirm that.. But, i remember during CNY travel through air tawar Perak.. There was an incident where, i though i miss the down shift (actually i did) and then i down shift again.. As as result, it turn out into 2nd gear.. And imagine i am overtaking and suddenly into 2nd gear. And it pull down my speed too..

So, now i know the delay behavior. When i down shift.. i know surely it will down shift the gear..
Meantime, Fortezien pls try and feedback your experience on shifttronic..I will futhure confirm my usage of shifttronic and update u guys..

Not only on Forte.. Rondo too Bro.. hihi.. our church have 4 Rondos... Each of us here also feel this.. The auto down shift gear is slow.. Sometime until the car is want to jerk only it will down shift to 3rd gear.. This is my experience.. again.. as you said we have shifttronic.. So, not an issue at all..
Since Forte & Rondo is using GEMA engine.. I believe we share the common pro & con on this..
