QUOTE(Jenn77 @ Apr 15 2010, 02:32 PM) Wah lao eh.. he ask me why I alwiz surf Myforte forum and LYN Forte forum.. what so pah pai about this car? He said korean junk.. nia sing! i think we all already agreed and knew that FORTE isn't about speed and power.i see FORTE as a great value car, with good looking, decent safety, and sufficient power..great package...well i do think some of other 1.6 car like neo can tapau FORTE easily...the common questions i got from my frens and family, they asked me.."why FORTE? laju ke? Pick up ke?"[COLOR=red]..oh my...Added on April 15, 2010, 3:02 pm QUOTE(aizyou @ Apr 15 2010, 02:54 PM) yup, the car is there since early april but juz no time to do it i would chose 'TitS' too.. they got stock 1 white 1 tits, my booking is white.. in the end. i choose tits ~ This post has been edited by sallehsi: Apr 15 2010, 03:07 PM |

dont u guys think our car FC calculation is a bit inaccurate sometimes..yesterday i brought my son ronda2 around kampung..drove very slow one..i just let the car move without pedalling minyak..u can imagine la how slow..but the FC surprised me..10l/100km..but when cruising along hi-way..the FC gradually decrease. how they actually calculate our FC? anybody know?

QUOTE(Taipan052 @ Apr 15 2010, 03:35 PM) the reading only accurate if you let the petrol finish. is it adviseable to reset the FC reading from time to time? i did that when the FC ridiculuosly high..after reset it shows a better FC..logik sikitfill full tank --> drive until empty its real time reading ler. |

QUOTE(Jenn77 @ Apr 15 2010, 03:42 PM) 350km? 2.0? manual calculation or from the LCD info? i always made my own calculation manually then compare to the LCD info..not much diff. though.but the LCD tends to gave higher FC..(for the record..i always reset the FC meter from time to time)..QUOTE(Jenn77 @ Apr 15 2010, 03:42 PM) lol..oopps too lolbro taipan..u meant that our FC meter only count the FC on the current speed? not the entire kilometers after refuel? then my FC shud be lower during when i drove at kampung slowly..correct me if im wrong..quite confuse This post has been edited by sallehsi: Apr 15 2010, 03:58 PM |

QUOTE(Taipan052 @ Apr 15 2010, 03:58 PM) it only calculate your fuel consumption (in L) with distance travelled (in KM) so far. how about this..this is my daily travel..after that if more highway drive, the FC will drop. if more city drive, it still slowly drop but at slower pace. Added on April 15, 2010, 3:58 pm thats the better explanation. in BOLD from home, went to send my son to babysitter in the morning and then straight to office, distance from my house to babysitter's house to office is about 5 km in total.speed around 70-80km/hour at evening also same..from office went to fetch my son and then went home..total distance and average speed is about the same as above.. FC shows 9l/100km.is it normal?.no jam, no idling, only driving miss daisy style. |

QUOTE(sweetpea123 @ Apr 15 2010, 04:25 PM) Exactly, I just can't stand people who degrades other people's car. If it isn't jealousy , then I don't know what it is. Cannot afford, then say it's no good. Sour grapes. yeap..second to thatjenn, you tell your friend. His "milo tin" definitely can fly since it's light. I chose Forte cos it's easy on the eyes, easy on the pocket , impeccable specs , great features and safe , not because it can outrun other cars. Those childish kids have a lot of growing up to do. |

QUOTE(Taipan052 @ Apr 15 2010, 05:57 PM) 1) cold engine start u let idle for how long? o..forgot to mention about cold start..yeap most of it cold start and let idle for about 30 secs..i've completed the 1k service..thnks for your buah fikiran bro2) have you complete first 1K KM service? FC is subjective depends on location, traffic lights, start-stop condition. is the 9L/100Km is from u start pour full tank until empty or you've reset the reading? hmmmm.. the best way to calculate is still manual. get the KM/L reading and from there can convert to L/100KM reading then compare with ODO reading |
