saw such news... hongleong is going to merge with eon ? hmm if hongleong bank "makan" eon bank already .. what will happen to the current client in eon / hongleong in terms of housing loan (BLR and FDR) ?

it would be a good news if it happens as HL and EON both also lack of branches as compared to public/cimb.

yupe.. but in terms on loan .. will there be any impact ? eg... how about the current client of eon / hongleong when the merging is for real especially those with FDR housing loan ? (*since eon has a package under FDR rate for housing loan)

no change u still owe them money until u pay them off

HL and EON merger has nothing to do with current client.

All existing loan or whatever terms will be carried on in general, which is a norm practice.

As the merger issue has nothing to do with housing loan or has materia effect on existing client and housing loan, so this topic is closed.
