Hi XM,

Can you explain how to Improved Kinetic Scrolling on my phone. I don't know where I could get the file name mention in the FP. Is this one the function that could be done after flashing the phone ?

My phone is only 3 weeks old.

Am I correct to just create a folder in c: name private and copy the 20021192.txt file into it and I can have the kinetic scrolling like what i seen on the u tube.

When I'm using the ovi map and ask it to go online. How would I know if it's using agps (pay )or the normal gps from the phone (FOC)

I've installed XO2 and ROM patcher twice and when I rund xo2 and time it tells me that my phone is hacked. after copying most of the patched into the phone I've activated all patch from manual to auto and it worked.

The only problem now is that I"m unable to see the c\private folder. How do I go into this folder. When I go to app > file manager > c:phone memory >

I see all other files except the private folder. What could I be doing wrong.
A bit frustrated hope you could help.

how u know the phone is hacked? u can set the ROM patches to GREEN enabled?

Yes, the rom patches is green and enable. I've enabled the setting deactivated and only realised that i can't open the setting icon. So I deactivated it and now I could access the settings. What I've got on the patch are :- Activate install server, camera red led off, meag bass effects, open system files, record tone off and short multi tap. They are all green and enable set to auto.

I've found the answer as I'm only using the nokia file manager and assume it was the same as Y browzer. After installing Y browzer now can see the private folder.

Now the next question, why after copying the kenetic scrolling txt file into the folder and restarting the phone why when I scroll through the contact list still so slow and unlike what we see in utube. I'm fancy that function alot.

I need help on my gamin. My problem is as follow :-

1. Open Gamin software.
2. Tap on view map
3. Tap on Vehicle Icon to view detail map. Map at 500m (detail)
4. After scrolling to view the map a few times the program hangs.
5. After waiting for a few min still nothing happens.
6. Exit to menu and use kill me to stop the program.

What is the problem? All help appreciated.

I consider this phone is better than iphone coz most of the software is independent of the service provider and if you know where to get it's all complimentary. Just download and use no need to pay high monthly fee to maxis, digi ......

Most service provider like iphone coz everything it's tied to the service provider so have to pay higher monthly fees for all the services and worst of all is the contract for 2 year.

No regrets getting this phone for myself & wife. Even if you get iphone now it's going to be outdated soon but your contract is 2 years. As you know that these phones change model like fashion and 2 years later still using the old iphone where almost everyone is using the latest and newest.

Go for it. No regrets. Value for money package. If you got a lot of money to burn then another story.

Can any one let me know which version of firmware come together with quick office ?

I've downloaded v50-0.005.c03.01 and no quick office.
