I am not killing this thread i am expanding or upgrading it to next level. Technology advances everyday and it waits for no men. I still keep my nokia 5800XM whenever i start up a thread i make sure it grows greatly like this thread. Nokia N900 will be next in line and look forward to see you at other side my dear friend

This procedure must be performed after flashing firmware, kindly enable Activate Install Server and Open System patch in ROM Patcher and enable view HIDDEN/SYSTEM files in X-Plore:
1. Run KILL ME for the first time and move all items in REMOVABLE into PROTECTED section.
2. Enable ROM Patcher and enable ACTIVATE INSTALL SERVER & OPEN SYSTEM FILES Patch.
3. Delete C:\Predic
4. Delete C:\Data (Subfolders Only!)
5. Delete C:\System\Data\RPPLus.dat (This file will be auto created once restart)
6. Delete C:\System\Data\FileMover.cap (This file will be auto created once restart)
7. Delete C:\System\Data\devlist.dat (This file will be auto created once restart)
8. GOTO THIS FOLDER LOCATION "C:\Private\101f875a\startup" (Delete files!)
9. GOTO THIS FOLDER LOCATION "C:\Private\101f875a\tasks" (Delete all file!)
10. GOTO THIS FOLDER LOCATION "C:\Private\101f6efa\" (Delete all files!)
11. GOTO THIS FOLDER LOCATION "C:\Private\102072c4\" (Delete all files!)
12. GOTO THIS FOLDER LOCATION "C:\Private\101f8857\Cache\CData\" (Delete all files!)
13. GOTO THIS FOLDER LOCATION "MEMORY CARD\Private\101f8857\Cache\CData\" (Delete all files!)
14. In memory card, create folder E:\Sys\Cache
15. In memory card, create folder E:\Received
16. Enable OPEN SYSTEM FILES patch in ROM Patcher to overcome Nokia standard browser issue.
17. Tips, after installing ure favorite applications do again step no. 3, 4, 5, 6, 7, 8, 9 and 12.

Finished: Now you can restart the phone, and install desired applications freely, the phone is now highly optimised !

Introduction

1. What you need to know?
- Language packs code.
- Disable unnecessary factory standard startups.
- Unwanted files appropriate to be removed.
- Repack the firmware into custom firmware.


Language Boot Record

- Under RESOURCE\DATA\BOOTDATA, open languages.txt.
- You will see the following two kinds of situations, each language pack may not be the same as
- You will see 159,d 327 326 and 31 (d) means default.
- Since we just need APAC English, remove 327 326 and 31 and save languages.txt file.


Remove Languages (Observed The Codes)

- The original firmware RM-356 APAC has 4 languages (English, Malay, Indonesia & Chinese).
- In this custom firmware, we will keep only English.
- Extract the RM-356_40.0.005_prd.rofs2.V22 using Nokia Editor.
- Under ROFS folder use Agent Ransack and find all *.R31 (Chinese) delete all files found.
- Under ROFS folder use Agent Ransack and find all *.R326 (Malay) delete all files found.
- Under ROFS folder use Agent Ransack and find all *.R327 (Indonesia) delete all files found.
- Under ROFS folder use Agent Ransack and find all Malay*.* delete all files found.
- Under ROFS folder use Agent Ransack and find all Chine*.* delete all files found.
- Under ROFS folder use Agent Ransack and find all Indon*.* delete all files found.


Language System Files

- Under SYSTEM\DATA, keep only:

1. srsf_0_0.bin
2. srsf_0_159.bin
3. srsf_0_159.bin
4. srsf_1_159.bin
5. srsf_1_159.bin
6. srsf_2_159.bin
7. srsf_2_159.bin
8. srsf_2_0.bin
9. srsf_2_0.bin
10. srsf_3_0.bin
11. srsf_3_0.bin
12. srsf_4_159.bin
13. srsf_4_159.bin

- The 159 represents English APAC, other than files listed above safely removable.


Remove HELP Files

- Under RESOURCE\HELP delete all the files, dont delete the HELP folder.


Remove Additional Files

- Under RESOURCE\MULTITAP the file "PtiChnPRC.rsc" is safely removable, since we dont need Chinese pack.
- Under SYS\BIN remove Elocl.31 and keep Elocl.159.
- Under SYS\BIN remove T9Malay.dll, T9Indonesian.dll and T9Chinese.dll and the rest keep.
- Under PRIVATE\10207254\THEMES at subfolders each, keep only the file numbered 159, others safely removable.


Removing Factory Standard Startups

- To remove startups such as welcome2.exe in SYS\BIN, dont simply erase .EXE files, its dangerous & icons wont work.
- To remove any .EXE file, just create an empty New Text Document.txt & rename to welcome2.exe and replace original.


Dictionary Removal (BLUE)

- Use Agent Ransack & find DICTIO*.* - delete all files found.


Dictionary Removal (RED)

- Use Agent Ransack & find Mobiledict*.* - delete all files foun

i love it...and its fast...if u erase that file after flash u will have 80 mb of space on C
and about 42 ram space after using it ...42.45
i think thats fast!
