my firmware is V31.0.008....V40 is not from nokia right?
i updated mine using the nokia software updater but this is the latest version i got

can any1 teach me how to backup msg and contact using phone only (NOT FROM PC SUITE, OVI SUITE)

Nokia file manager, Backup .. -> Startup backup (the backup stored in memory card) u need enable view hidden/system folder in windows explorer to view it ..

Hello XM, i having some trouble installing JAV service suite on my com. I'm using window vista ultimate 32-bit... when i try to run the program, it shows some .dll missing. I tried uninstall and install but still the same.

Step 1 Phone Menu > Apps. > File mgr.
Step 2 Scroll to Backup > Click it > Then at Backup Content you can choose which to backup
Step 3 Option (bottom left icon)
Step 4 Select back up now


For restoration follow Step 1 to Step 3 but this time choose Restore

Nokia removed v40.0.005 from their update to APAC customers, the latest availability is v31.0.008 smile.gif .. unless ure able to download and flash the v40.0.005 which I have ripped previously from NAVIFIRM at 2nd page smile.gif

if u planned to flash, just go for custom firmware rather than the original v40.0.005 .. the Nokia original FW is useless nod.gif .. alot bugs, now amateur FW makers much more smarter than the Nokia engineers .. eg. Steven, Rohith, Adonix & Lilian from DM site .. rclxms.gif

my phone keep rebooting, as frequent as i'm aware of, at least once a day. not using any hack firmware. currently using v4xxx. any hint?
