Getting Started

so long they are still selling buttloads of iphone 3Gs, i don't think they will bother with iphone 4G yet, as the costs of making iphone 3Gs go down, they still selling same price = profit. probably iphone 4G when they need to fight competitor hardware

I just started owning one at the start of this year. Added on April 9, 2010, 3:10 amFor those who missed the live show, check out this page for coverage on some key features in the OS 4. MULTITASKING IS HERE lol!
anyways, it seems the 4.0 OS needs to use alot of juice. only 3gs could afford to do multitasking....
and i do think that the new iphone will be in 2010 by looking at the functions of the 4.0 OS. but i might be wrong...

QUOTE(eugenechiuu @ Apr 9 2010, 06:13 AM) nah, 1 of the main things for Jailbreaking is doing 'Ehem' things as well LOL... talking about *ehem* things here can get you a vacation you know Added on April 9, 2010, 8:44 amQUOTE(ginolo @ Apr 9 2010, 02:40 AM) Q: Are you concerned about leaving out your older customer base (with the lack of features for older devices). A: (Steve) Well, a lot of these products that are out there are the most recent products. The old devices will get the update, but they'll miss some of these features like multitasking. If that's an incentive for them to upgrade to a new device... terrific. Seems like Steve is answering to you, Eithanius. haha here's something that I do wonder about. Those like the 2G iPhone wont be able to get the upgrade. However those ppl who are still using the 2G, do they really make use of the newer features? However those ppl who are still using the 2G, do they really make use of the newer features? i think it depends on the user. most of the user that are interested with the new functions will probably sell their iphone off. Then for those who is dont really care or need about the new features, they will stay back. just finished watching the replay of live. Too bad the Q&A section is not included.
