flash lacks of security, required high resources and drain battery. it's not a smart choice to run it on mobile devices. Moreover, HTML5 is a better choice.

QUOTE(Eithanius @ Apr 9 2010, 02:15 AM) damn f***ed up...!!! thats why i saw you selling off ur mac pro? sometimes they are forced to abandon the old. if the old dont go, where comes the new one?apparently multitasking will not be supported on iPhone 3G and 2nd-gen iPod Touch... well, I guess this is how Apple treat its customers with their products 2 generations behind, leaving them unsupported, just like how they abandon 64-bit support on 1st gen Mac Pro, also 2 generations behind... |

Very smart move from Apple to implement iAds in iPhone OS.
You have to watch those ads no matter what. Seems like Steve Jobs is revenging on Google's involvement into smart phone market. This post has been edited by 5w33: Apr 9 2010, 02:21 AM |

ad income is a big gold mine. ppl do the ads, pays apple to advertise it. apple put them on iphone, pays developer 60% and they get 40%. its a good deal to be middle man and earn almost half of the income

Android doesn't seem to be crashing every 5 mins or lasting less than a minute while running flash. Moreover, HTML5 is a better choice. HTML5 is still in its crawling stages whereas Flash is used in 95% of the plugins in the Web. It would be ludicrous to not support Flash, just like not releasing a Windows iTunes. |

I do agree that Apple has left Flash for dead but its stupid to think that Flash is irrelevant and weak. |

QUOTE(ZeneticX @ Apr 9 2010, 02:22 AM) actually is there any fingerswipe shortcut or special button to switch apps? pressing the home-button twice to go to recent apps can't be the only way, right? they should implement like a 4 finger swipe just like Expose on MaC OS X |
