If you already installed with iOS4GM and your iTune already identify your iPhone as updated them how do you get the iTune to update it for you again? I plugged in and it says it is the latest version. Wakaka. Fast growing thread.

I believed you are also a 3G user right?
Do you enable homescreen and multitasking function?

Just wanna share my exprience on iOS 4.
-Im using i3G, jailbreak-ed.

PRO
-enabled multitasking and homescreen wallpaper = dead slow
-enabled multitasking only = just nice. no more lagging.
-improved battery life. Standby mode with normal sms and call (30 sms and 10 minutes call) can stand up to 1 and half days. Before this on 3.1.2, not even a day.
-improved app loading time.

CONS
-eat up precious ram as most all the factory apps (Clock, Calculator, Settings, etc) will stay in the background. Have to manually terminate (thats why by default i3G isnt eligible for multitasking function).

To summarize, I'm happy with my iOS 4.

If you are using i3G, you can jailbreak it and use SBSettings to manually terminate backgrounded apps.
But if you are on i3GS, you have to wait until a proper JB tool come up.

Cheers! smile.gif

just double tap home button then tap and hold down the icon (just like you want to delete the app), then it will have a minus sign ontop the app. just tap it. it will terminate the app

Don't have an iPad so no access to iBook previously. Now with 4.0, the pages flick is really outstanding

Btw, I realized that Books in the appstore and the one in iBook is different, am I right?

Is there anyway we can download iBook's book from iTunes on the PC rather from the app itself?

Just wanna ask regarding the function where we are able to put apps into folders. Is there only one for utilities? Or we can create multiple folders for placing numerous apps?
