Play safe use itunes :-)
*
nothing to 'play safe' about.

because at the end of the day, iTunes will still verify your firmware and final installation (and connect to the activation server) before letting you "off the hook".

Still in the process of backing up. Grrrrr!

How long does the installation take, roughly?
*
depends on your computer/MAC really.

mine is only a MBP 15" and it took me about 10 minutes

No not yet at least, your iPhone would still be locked until an unlock is released by third party devs.

@nokia, he thinks you're an attention whore.

but i guess those are simple aps. wat happens whn heavy aps are running.?
*
good point. i will try some 'heavy' apps first.

not sure if i'm doing this right.

but i have 'Spartacus' (the fighting game), 'Grand Theft Auto') and watching Glee on the iPod at the same time with the simple apps alongside.

don't really feel much lag or resistances.

you can now lock the potrait orientation to prevent it from swaying around.

also observe the icons beside the battery icon.

I'm posting this on the new iOS4 and the multitasking makes it really simple.
