The USB in this LCD is reading files in thumb drive, but NOT reading a 500gb samsung external drive properly. When connected, menu pops up displaying music, movies, and photos lists, but when any of the list is selected, it shows up "0 folder, 0 file". Samsung ext HD is in ntfs format. Is anyone else having similar experiences? Any solutions? Thanks heaps in advance!

Maybe ur external hdd box chipset not support or the harddisk size too big or the hdd format problem(NTFS, FAT32, FAT16)

Does the HDD need to be powered? Unless it has a USB port that is specific for external HDD.

Probably the ext hdd contents needs to be in fat32 file format. Or the usb from the TV unable to supply enough power to the ext hdd. hmm.gif

from my experience, usually those ports only support FAT file formats only.. NTFS strictly not supported..

Hello.....not my display, my sis bought this unit. X10 panny is still delivering what it promised to do...Sammy 32 however has this horizontal line about 1 cm below top of screen, but you can still see "thru" it. I just noticed it last week, not really noticeable but it's there nonetheless, and it annoys me when content is full screen....haha. Any thoughts?

Hmm, one line...could be a power supply issue. Get it checked, but it might not be worth it to repair.

Yup, I figured I'll just live with it, and if it gets worse, will check how much it cost to repair, and if not worth it, will move the X10 panny to room, mount on wall, and get a new full HD plasma display for living room. Hopefully by then, prices will be pocket-friendly! smile.gif

How the performance of this model (LG 42LH50YR)?

I saw HN sellin it for RM2999 (showroom model) and the 200hz is kinda intriguing but not sure how good it is...
