QUOTE(yamato @ Jul 20 2010, 01:55 AM) It's not what I believe in, hence the sad to say. It's simply the unfortunate reality.I've been hit from behind before, but only because some idiot in front of me did something real stupid and caused the chain reaction. It wasn't the fault of the guy who hit me, he was in the wrong place at the wrong time, but there's only one conclusion the cops and insurance came to. Anyways, back to topic. |

QUOTE(kingsora @ Jul 20 2010, 08:10 AM) It is just me but i think there is actually an accident in front of the wira n ferrari that might have cause a chain reaction. Anybody can clarify? It's only speculation, but there appears to be debris on the road in front of the Ferrari that was hit, and behind the Saga in front. Also. the Wira hit the rear right of the Ferrari with its front left, which means that the Wira driver had excellent unobstructed sighting on what was happening further in front. |

Haha I love how that hihi said there's no need to say it's the wira's fault, yet he contradicted that by saying it is his fault.
QUOTE(ahshuy @ Jul 20 2010, 11:32 AM) but no matter how he is lawfully wrong, we cant deny it, he has to pay d dmg. Exactly, the law is black and white here. You rear-end, you pay. There's no point diggin garound the grey areas, the cops will only see one conclusion.by the way i tot the wira just need to pay saman up to RM300 then d rest just have to claim from insurance? any1 can clarify this? Now, the Wira does have to pay the RM300 saman, and the rest is claimed by the Ferrari's insurance off the Wira's insurance, ODKFK. The problem arises if the Wira's insured amount does not cover the repairs, and if the Ferrari does not have an underinsured coverage clause. Someone has to make up the difference, and that would be the unfortunate Wira driver. EDIT: haha at the misinformation I've posted above. I checked with my agent, cos I recently did get hit by a car with a lower insured value. Apparently, both comprehensive and third-party insurance will cover the complete repair bill and loss of use to the car you hit based on legal liability and subject to the adjuster's reccomendation. The comprehensive will cover the car at fault until the insured amount, but the third-party will not at all. So the Wira owner will not have to come out from pocket except for the increased premiums and/or loss of NCB, and in the case of a third-party coverage, his own damage. That is what I was told, and hopefully that' the correct information. This post has been edited by Roland San: Jul 20 2010, 12:06 PM |

QUOTE(FidelisGVR @ Jul 20 2010, 10:00 PM) now that i think of it: in m'sia, where do the owners send their supercars for repair? There's an official lambo in sunway, and naza handles the ferraris and masers in their pj shop. APD in glenmarie seem to have a few exotics there, saw a couple of r8s, gallardos and a heap of bentleys being worked on.are there lots of garages that specializes in exotics? like an exclusive lambo garage, for example? |

QUOTE(ericmaxman @ Jul 27 2010, 01:50 PM) Well, for starters, there's an official dealership and workshop here as of early '09.Also they look really good. And they've managed to shake the garage queen image they used to have (and even maybe the poor man's F image)... Also they look really good. |

Some would say that Maser is the poor man's Ferrari.
Also, the 80's Masers have set a reputation of unreliability so great that only the sexiness of the current GT models can fix. |

QUOTE(darkdevilrey @ Jul 30 2010, 12:03 AM) i would think that ferlari is too common until it wont catch your breathe anymore if 1's passing by. There are a lot of Ferraris around. There are a lot of newer Ferraris, especially F430s, around. I wonder what the actual numbers are, but I do suspect that there are probably more F430s than 360s and 355s put together haha. Almost too common, but still fuiyo, I think.if maser GTS passing by, i would still response FUIYO~~~~~~~~~~ if ferrari, cheh. almost common as 350Z liao. dun flame, juz 2cents. lolz |

QUOTE(andy @ Jul 31 2010, 12:53 AM) The report is about a recent police round up of Friends Club and Star Club members due to reports of fraud techniques in their MLM programmes.. Looks like it happened right at their doorstep in Sunway Mentari, and even at Auto Select - a partnering car accessory shop owned by a member. Lol about time. The top dogs in these MLMs feed off the blood of their downlines, and eventually something's gotta give.Love the RM10 road tax on the 350Z Edit: MLM = multi level marketing. Fancy name for pyramid scheme. This post has been edited by Roland San: Jul 31 2010, 02:13 AM |

QUOTE(chuakz @ Jul 31 2010, 12:56 PM) actually mlm not scam lah....ppl do succeed in mlms...just...throughout the process many lies and empty promises are told...u dun lie....u dun succeed By promising something in exchange for money, and not delivering, how is that not a scam?MLMs can work in a totally legal framework, but it will not grow fast enough for most people to be satisfied. They get greedy and start conning people. That's how it falls apart. As in any pyramid scheme, the guy at the top reaps the rewards, and drives the big cars. The lower down the pyramid it goes, the harder it becomes. Eventually it will collapse. http://thestar.com.my/news/story.asp?file=...2140&sec=nation |
