I wonder what would have happened had Malaysia practiced US style Capitalism...

I am not a full supporter of it, but it does make me wonder...

Imagine Malaysia with legalized porn and prostitution...

we will have lesser cases of rape and murder and unwanted child births.
we will have good economy as 'potential rapists' will work a lot harder to pay for prostitution
Reduction in unemployement
STDs are controlled in a smaller area
Girls will have no fear travelling down the dark alley
improved inflow of foreign income as tourists will visit the brothels often.
and a lot more benefits!

errrr... Not entirely... The main problem with capitalism is that, it gives room to monopolization, just like Malaysia's approach to controlled economy...

The main difference is that, monopolization under the US Capitalism is by companies who are publicly owned whereas Malaysia's approach to controlled economy, monopolization is done by GLCs...
