Hmm... I thought it sounded a little better without the vocals. Maybe it's just my instrumental preferance.

It's not that hard to distinguish the sound from my drum from the originals... Bleh! Drums aren't supposed to be too loud in songs anyway! We are always secondary/unimportant sort of people that no one really cares about. The guitarists are always the heroes.

This little cover is only one part of the whole arrangement waiting to be done by 5 people. I hope I can find a good mixer

just curious, how do you record it? Mic? or line in? or gears e.g Line6 UX series?

You can check my video description on YouTube for more info.. Basically it's recorded it using a VOX Night Train mic'ed in through a Logitech USB microphone. Does it sounds alright? =/

What software did you use for recording? Not sure if recording from mic in on sound board is better than USB mic.

Steno: I was just using the bundled HP MediaSmart Webcam on my notebook to record, then mix the video and mp3 together using the free Windows Live Movie Maker. Simple like that. heh Well, at least the USB mike works like a charm!
