do you realize the drum pattern are double bass through out the song -.- I can practice for it but a I have to divide portion by portion then practice one step at a time >.>

I had a chat with brain few mins ago and what I can tell you guys that we have very limited time to prepare ourself for performance. One or two jamming sessions wouldn't enough for us achieve perfection to hold a performance. Thus, we decided to play at least 1 song from our line up list that we're familiar with. The songs list for performance are:

1. Bad apples (Elly's Theme - Stage 3 techno version from Touhou)
2. Uragiri no yuuyake - THEATRE BROOK

I just read everything up since I'm being extremely lazy through out the day yesterday ~_~ I'm probably gonna made this post short and simple. Some notes that need to referred to from your post:



I already told to some of you in a very lazy way of expression, not to perform in this event since we don't have enough time to get us ready. Though, some of you guys were very encouraging to do this and somehow my intuition swayed into an agreement seeing the majority of you who wanted to participate were indeed significant. To be frank, I happened to know about this dinner event in all sudden last week and I was like, WTF!? we gonna do performance in one week?..seriously??? (k lol glhf)..So now it's already over and lets forget about it shall we?

Speaking of which, do you guys know there's another upcoming Cosplay & Jpop event coming this 19 February?. Someone already post the ads in forum here http://forum.lowyat.net/topic/1726591 (http://jclub-no-sekai.blogspot.com/)<- orginal advertisement... I already made a proposal whether they give opportunity for band members to do performance in the event. Their response was positive but they need to ask the Sunway Giza Management supports in terms of equipments, ect before proceeding to make the decision. This is the response from the organizer:



Since then I haven't reply back to the organizer because I need your commitment to do this seriously.If you really want to perform in this event, please post your reply in this thread. We still have a lot of time to prepare our self. Your participation is in your hand, I go with the majority as well as your talent into this.


Some preplan to take note:

1. Next jamming session would probably be on this saturday or sunday afternoon. Please do post yer reply in here if you want to go for jamming session..btw I have not book yet.

2. I was thinking to invite Yuki to sing in our band if we're gonna perform in this Jpopcosplay event. Therefore, I really need Eccen help in coaxing her to join us in the performance BOKUWA UTTE KUDASAI! This might be the last hope for an epic performance.

3. Our first opening song in the list would be Ringo Migure Beam!

I have the script and everything inside my head if the opening song is Ringo Migure Beam...you want epic opening song, this is the song for it..I heard Eccen sang this very good from last jamming session. Not to forget we still have yafex...his voice sounds promising for this kind of song.

One thing for sure..Rewrite akfg song is something quite challenging for me in terms of keeping the endurance at full throttle..It's been awhile since I played God Knows, Rewrite is another one that has that burning sensation. In fact it is much harder than godknows. Hack my right arm grew muscle much more bigger than my left arm. The roll are much more difficult than any other I've played and somehow I manage to pull it of maybe because of that snare drum. I dunno, I think it has a special attribute on the pad which allows me to rolls faster in a very natural way.

Aside from that, I need to find the right tempo of Uragiri Yuuyake. Most of you said the song were played really fast. Actually I was quite surprise when eccen told to speed up a bit at 1st the attempt. Then the 2nd time we played were too fast

Another thing, I think the vocalist need to practice the cameo role and learn to interact with audience. If you don't do this, the audience would never have interest on us.

I contact Artrax yesterday asking for available slot for jamming session..Wednesday and Thursday are still free start at 9.00pm..I'm looking forward on Myc reply in here whether he's been approve to be able to jam this wednesday or thursday >_>

I've notice something new in uragiri no yuuyake..after hearing the mp3 quite awhile, the ryhtm is played with guitar clean instead of distortion..if its a clean guitar setup, it would be similar as playing in acoustic..Therefore I would suggest brain play the rhythm with full cord rather than power cord

Another thing I would like to comment about afterdark cover from yesterday jamming session..the bass wasn't played solid enough by Myc.. some portion were played wrongly though..please do revise back how the actual chord are played..Surprising echen and brian almost got it right ..keep it up

Actually the clean guitar setup comes from the vocalist.. he's the one who plays rhythm all together..I believe his using fx gear to switch between clean and half distortion..but what most important is that the chord he played are majorly in full chord

^ depends on how you tweak the volume of the guitar..though, somehow I feel the live version sounds different than the album cover
