Tonight if you have time around 8pm, do msn me. I have some suggestion to make but until we have a conclude everything via msn whether performance on this 19/2/2011 is a go or not, I'll not post anything that relate to the performance.

For Bad Apple, was thinking along the following lines... the below is close to what I have in mind especially the opening and ending parts

And I'll offer vocals. Report in if ye can play the drums. Bass is simplified. But the guitar...

I have my own few opinions based on last nite practice session. I personally think that the following songs can be brought to perform on this 19/2 but need to look through back some minor problems/mistakes.

1) Moon on the water -Got no problem with it for me if Myc wanna do solo performance. Imma okay with it.
2) Rewrite-The feel is there but just need more practice. Still cannot determine who can sing coz both Eccen and me cannot sing well due to throat problem. Summore I had a fever that morning and just recovered after lying on bed.
3) Uragiri No Yuyake-Can say we play 70% perfect. Like what Eccen said, LAJU GILA WEI!!!!!More practice is needed.
4) MeguriAi- Need to practice more.
5) Bad Apples (with Bad Apples's band own arrangement)-Some touch up on the arrangement. Have to discuss later here, or MSN.

However Yokan definitely need 2nd guitar. Now there is no one play the 2nd guitar if I already changes role to play the bass and Myc as the singer.

BUT my main question is, does Eccen agree to be the guest guitarist for Bad Apples on this 19/2 performance? I've been told that the purpose of the practice session last nite is for Eccen to see Bad Apples capability to perform on this 19/22, hence determine whether he agree or not to join the party.

Oh ya, FYI, some of my officemates oso kena sakit tekak. So I think its not becoz of virus but probably weather sickness.

Hahaha there is a reason why I look like keras macam tunggul. I purposely do that actually. Its not because I malu2 because of the recording.

1. If want me to join, please drop Meguriai, SERIOUSLY.  vmad.gif
2. I got extra guitarist if you guys really want. But he will play what I told him only, so tell me the arrangement later(bout who will guitar 1, bass etc etc). And since he's there, think i'll ask him to play 2 songs including yokan. so brian need to step back as a guitarist for one song.
3. I'm still not convinced from last night jam session, still looks really old man band to me with no tension whatsoever. doh.gif
4. Look in the mirror, are you a rockstar or an average salaryman?
*
1. Its not me to decide (regarding the song), its the band. If u r asking for my opinion, imma ok with it (to drop MeguriAi).
2. Imma ok with it. How about others?
3. Request another training session to conclude (since most of us not really in a good shape last nite). If still not satisfied, let the band go through back the problem and make a final decision.
4. Your statement referring to?

If we can settle who would replace me at bass, give me a wireless mic, and I'll show you performance. Next time we play at that studio, it will be with studio recording.

Omg cannot imagine Myclamyra jumping around, singing and go headbanging.

QUOTE(Eccentrical @ Feb 1 2011, 10:05 AM)
Brian can go at the bass, should be no problem there. The guitarist only can join next week, since he's celebrating CNY this week.

Added on February 1, 2011, 10:25 amAnd for next jam session, make it daytime(since I have a limitation now after the accident) and tell me 4-5 days before it.
*
Me playing bass? Imma ok with it.

Nak jam minggu ni pun takpe. Jam suka2 je la. Line up haritu pun dah ok kalau nak suka2.

Based on the practice session yesterday, there's a little bit improvement rather than previous session but it is only due to the good equipments provided by the studio. I believe our performance is still remained the same as the previous jam session. In addition, I tried to use the body language like what Eccen had advice, which hopefully could show that I am performing rather than playing. Dunno how is it go.

I've notice something new in uragiri no yuuyake..after hearing the mp3 quite awhile, the ryhtm is played with guitar clean instead of distortion..if its a clean guitar setup, it would be similar as playing in acoustic..Therefore I would suggest brain play the rhythm with full cord rather than power cord
*
I oso notice that actually. But most of the cover in the utube are covered on the singer's guitar part(distortion one). And I oso quite shocked that while in the music video, the rythm part is done by some-dude-using-a-DJ-gear. Tonite I'll check the live video via utube and if found, I'll see how he play.

Another thing I would like to comment about afterdark cover from yesterday jamming session..the bass wasn't played solid enough by Myc.. some portion were played wrongly though..please do revise back how the actual cord are played..Surprising echen and brian almost got it right ..keep it up
*
lol

aku main hentam pun ko kata betul? shocking.gif

Edit:

Aaaaanyway, regarding the 'rhythm guitar part which was played with a clean sound' on Uragiri No Yuuyake song that u mention. I already looked into the live version at utube. That part is actually played using a keyboard. No wonder in the PV version, that dude was using some DJ-gear.

ps: I like that uncle playing bass. His face looked selamba with his hat and his long beard. Like A Samad Said just recently joined rock n roll band would look like.

Chords for Touhou Bad APPLES as per requested by Steno

so sorry steno for late posting this thing. I just notice that they tranpose with 1 key higher during the 3rd chorus so I need to arrange the chords again. Hence, it got 6 chords in total.

@ Junling31: not really we're not pro at all..I would consider myself a noob but I'm really a passionate drummer ^^..

---------
Well I spend a whole day just to tune the drum set..and damn it's the most hardest instrument to tune I ever experience especially when your doing it alone..that base drum is a pain in the neck in order to get it right.
Btw, for your info the about jamming session, it will be held on this Friday night for 3 hours, and it's our last jamming session in this final week. I'm currently waiting for reply from atrax since I'm probing for available time slot.
*
What is the time?

However would prefer Pertama or Studio 11 becoz Atrax is a little bit far for me. sad.gif . Besides, its oso convinient for Suzann to come judging that Atrax starts their business at 10pm which is already near late nite and plus, we oso have to sleep early for tomorrow performance.

Anyway, I manage to invite back our 5 strings bassist, Joon Haw to replace Myclamyra for Yokan so that I can cover the rythm guitar for Yokan.
