I went to Poh Kong, they promoted the below engagement ring for me :
Carat - 0.34
Clarity - vs2
Color - G
Certified by IGI lab
RM3380
They said it's hemera diamond with 101 facets

And I went to Love & co, they proposed me :
Carat - 0.25
Color - F
Clarity - VS2
RM3300

Which want would you choose?

Love & co is triple excellent, since its below 0.3 carat so no GIA certificate.
For Poh Kong, need to double confirm on the cutting, should be triple excellent. They used IGI lab to certify, is this lab as good as GIA?

That day I went to see see... Most of it sell those high end propose ring. They ask me and I tell them bout my intention, they straight show me those expensive one and say "this is our lower range" .

I am having a tough time deciding which ring to get and i would greatly appreciate your advice and views on this. Here are the 3 options:

Forevermark: 0.78 ct, E, VS2, 3 excellent
Love & Co: 0.74 ct, E, VS1, ideal cut (diamond looks like 0.8 because of the cut)
DeGem GIA: 0.9 ct, E, SI1, 3 Excellent

Assuming there are all about the same price, which one should i get? Appreciate some advice here since you ladies seem more experience than i do. Thanks!

That's what i thought. Initially we had our minds fixed on 0.9 until we saw LOve & Co. Becuase it is Ideal cut it looks so shiny and big. Forvermark is RM20k, ), DeGem and Love & Co about RM23k+. I'm really torn in between

Is it very difficult to find 0.9 carat diamond these days? i went to many stores and they dont have 0.9ct and i was told 0.9 is very rare these days cos it is close to 1ct they might as well cut it into 1ct and sell it for double the price.

i guess so....

also, is it better to opt got 4 prongs or 6 prongs?

does it make your diamond look more square?

this 0.9 that they showed me is a earring but they will take the diamond and set it into a ring for me...still contemplating but for us girls, i think we will go for size. ahaha

So far i went to search from Poh Kong, Tomei, Wah Chan, D&P, lazare diamond and degem, wah chan deal seems to be the best follow by poh kong... wah chan got a lot of ring frame design from clasic to those that copy tiffany n so on...

Color F or G
Clarity VS 1 or 2
Cut 3x excelent
carat 0.50 to 0.60

Any one come across any shop with this good deal...
