There's this place in Publika which has the best prices. I did alot of research, even manged to get staff pricing from Poh Kong and Wah Chan through my bro's friends. Wah Chan was the cheapest, but this guy, Devnani was soooo much cheaper.

For engagement rings, you really need a good white diamond. Keep that in mind.

I bought a 3-stone ring (1 carat center stone, F color and 2 0.4 side stones) with diamond dust on the side and it cost me RM29k. The centre stone was GIA certified.

Find any design you want, and they will be able to replicate it. This design i designed myself.

Thats alot of money, yes. But this is a once in a lifetime thing. Plus, no wedding dinner, so i save on the dinner and now have something tangible that will last. Devnani's price is really good. But he needs some time to find you your perfect diamond.

All bro & sis any good place to hunt for wedding ring for my Fiancée ? budget 5k-10k (life saving). What should i look for ? does cutting and grading matter? Really need you guys help. Tolong. Can pay with kangkung arh haha

Try out Devnani's in Publika, the place i got my wife's ring from. Any design you want, he will be able to make.
Find a design online and then give it to him, he will do it based on your budget. 10k can get you a pretty decent rock. He will also spend a long time educating you on diamonds.

Out of the 4 Cs, the ones you should really care for are Cut, Carat and Color. A good cut gives out that nice shine, a good colour determines if hte diamond is whitish or yellowish and the carat is of course, the size.

Can you provide more detail about this. Thx

Just been to Diamond platinum Sg Wang to scout. Not really pro for the sales lady just call me look even I insist for recommendation i give of my rough budget 10k - 20k (haven't fine tune it as I have zero knowledge of diamond ring) Forevermark and Estella or something, at 15% discount for all year long (is this rate the lowest or I still can nego for more?) What if I pay by cash can I get more discount? Is GIA grading is better than forevermark in house grading? Coz when I mention GIA grading she keep her mouth shut and just mention Forevermark is a international brand from London.

Will be heading out to Midvalley soon as there have more jewelry outlet. Shall report more on my 3 month jewelry hunting for my beloved.

Typical sales lady. All these shops will always tell you about how their diamonds are cut in this way and that way and give you some kinda grading system which is total BS. Only Wah Chan didnt try selling me some kinda marketing jargon.

Only go for GIA if you want certification and nothing else. Every single GIA-certified diamond has a code and every single code will show your diamond on its website http://www.gia.edu/. But if you wanna save some cash, you dont even need certification if the rock is really good.

Trust me, after MidValley, pay a visit to Devnani. He is inside Publika, upstairs. Dont have to buy from them, just talk to Jay and ask him to educate you. He wont even push you to buy if you dont want to, so no loss to go and see, really.

Bro which side of publika which block (ABCD) shall visit this shop since you give a good recommendation. Is Devnani is the shop name?

Yeah Devnani is the shop name. You can find their address here : https://www.facebook.com/devnanijewels

Their designs are abit loud. But i suggest you do what i did : Ask your soon-to-be-fiancee to pick 5 rings that she likes. Then, you search online for a ring that fits the designs she chose.

Otherwise, just go online, see something you like (Can be any of the big brands like Cartier/Bvlgari/T&Co). And then ask them to make it like that.
