Maybe he got it at a sale, or he is really good at haggling. I usually just leave my requirements with the jeweler; i tell them the specs of the 4Cs i require and my budget and tell them to give me a call when they find one that fits. Alternatively, why don't you look for loose diamonds instead? Then look for the ring. It might be cheaper.

I dont really recommend love & co as is under the same company as sk jewelry. The headquarter is in Singapore. If anything goes wrong to the ring they need to send it over there to fix the ring and it takes 2 - 3 weeks. I bought one pair of wedding band from sk jewelry in bukit tinggi. (wanted to get from love & co but since is from same company i bought mine from sk jewelry) Not even a year one of my small diamond drop!

then i went to ask them about my diamond and will they replace for me since is less than a year and they say they need to send it to sg and check. if is my fault i have to pay. But before that the sales girl use the loupe (magnifying glass) to see whether is my mishandling or not. but after that she claim she don't know how to see so need to send my ring to sg. if she don't know how to see then why want to act like she know and use the loupe.

But end up i didnt give them cause if is their fault on the setting of the diamond i bet they wont admit cause it will ruin their reputation. 

I think in this case , I'll choose Poh Kong one. Size does matter in this case as our eyes can't visualize the difference between color F & G , but size we can differentiate. However , is both triple ex ? Why not take a GIA cert diamond ? Wah Chan and Degem most diamond is certified by GIA.

I am not expert enough to say which lab is good or bad. But in term of diamond , I will say GIA certification is more stringent than IGI , e.g. if GIA grade it as class F , IGI might grade it at as D or E (which is less strict).
