Does anyone know if all degem lazare diamond are certified in house instead of GIA?

Is lazare diamond's ideal cut better than those 3ex by GIA in terms of sparkle and fire or they are just about the same?

Any sifu can comment on that?

I just started to look for my engagement ring and I'm looking for a ring within 8-10k.
My priority would be cut > carat > colour > clarity.
I would go for the best cut, colour f to h, clarity vs1 to vs2 and the biggest carat within that budget.
Anyone has come across any stones with similar specs? How big carat that I can get for that budget?

Is that worth it?

I know I can get better specs in Wah Chan with similar budget.
Does the lazare brand name (or because of the ideal cut) justify its price?

Haha, your analogy of buying diamond sounds weird to me. 
I understand that lazare is more expensive compared to Wah Chan but I wonder is lazare more expensive due to just the brand or the lazare's ideal cut? I personally think that the lazare's ideal cut is not much different from the 3ex cut by GIA. Correct me if I'm wrong.

Seems like one can get 0.6 carat from Wah Chan vs 0.4 from lazare with more or less similar specs and budget.
I was told that the lazare is about 20 to 30% more expensive than forevermark.

In fact I have same thought too, still considering whether to get the solitaire from poh kong or wah chan and save some money for branded wedding band.
Mind to share how much is your cartier trinity?

U went to few diamond shop and decide to go for degem forevermark or love & co lovemark
Love & co lovemark diamond is  ideal cut wirh IGI cert which the saleperson said is better then 3EX
Degem forevermark is it self grading which the sale person said is better than GIA.
I like love & co ring design but prefer forevermark diamond due to its recognize international brand. Both price almost the same.
Any suggestion?

I got 2 choice.
Degem forevermark 0.28c F SI1 Rm 26xx or
Love n co lovemark 0.23 H vs2 Rm 30xx
I like the love n co ring design which is more fashion. Forevermark ring is more classic.

SK TruLove  VS1 G 0.35 IGI 5700 --> setting I wanted
SK TruLove  VS1 E 0.31 IGI 5622 --> not the setting I wanted.. need to reset... Should I go for the bigger, the setting I liked but lousier color grade?

Lazare is slightly better than Forevermark imo (though not by much), just go the DeGem Bangsar and check it out.

I think overall, Estrella was the best bang for the buck. The others, which cheaper, pale in comparison to the Estrella, Forevermark or Lazare. I went to Wah Chan and at first, the sales person tried to tell me their stone was great but after speaking to them in detail, he admitted that we can't really compare theirs to the likes of Lazare.

If you want to find out what are the differences in the cut, just ask them to show you their certificate and go use a tool like the HCA (http://www.pricescope.com/tools/hca) or the AGS (http://www.pricescope.com/tools/AGA_NAJA_Cut_Class_Grader) to gauge roughly what kind of 'shine' you can expect.

Lazare is expensive because it sits really high up the Cut scale, and all of their stones are cut to that measurement while GIA or AGS is just a grading agency, you can find great stones if you know what you are looking for.

I'd say go take a look for yourself, I didn't thought much about diamond and its differences until you look at it. Some will see it, some will not. Some cares for it, some do not. Just go look at as many as possible and pick the one you find best.
