QUOTE(PCcrazy @ Sep 16 2005, 03:37 AM) BTD / DTD typically doesn't like more juices. Or in other words they rarely give any increment in overclock with the rising of voltage. wan to ask, wats the best dtd43 result being showed here? i wan to make it as a reference...n since there is so many pages here, i suggest, make a conclusion for this thread eg dtd43 min average & max oc ability as well as btd43, for both single n dual channel at the 1st post, this will help a lot of our forummer to hv a clearer image |

QUOTE(PCcrazy @ Sep 17 2005, 03:58 AM) A good DTD43 should be in the region of 260HTT at 1T 2.5-3-3-8, meanwhile a good BTD43 should be in the region of 260HTT at 1T 2.5-4-4-8. Most of the D43 should work beautifully if set at 2T 270HTT @ 2.5-4-4-8. wan to comfirm, this beautiful ram must be double sided for 512mb? did u hear 1gb d43 ram tht can oc well? |

QUOTE(PCcrazy @ Sep 17 2005, 04:06 AM) On AMD64 platform, double sided D43 does wonder. I have tried few single sided D43 and it sucks big time. 1GB D43 is very rare and since there is no database that I can refer to, I will refrain from making speculations. But it's a good bet anyway since it has been proven to run really well on 512mb. thanks PCcrazy, but i doubt i'll like the single sided 512mb becoz it holds 64mb each chip, 512mb double sided only 32mb so got a lot room to pump up, thts y i'm worry, pls correct me if the theory is wrong QUOTE(super macgyver @ Sep 17 2005, 09:38 AM) RM180 each stick |

for my opinion in order to get the result in the fastest time, run ur ram for 1 loop only for the 1st time setting with every 5mhz increase...
if ur ram can pass the 1st loop, go higher till error comes out for the 1st loop... after tht go down till no error for the 1st loop, then only u did the memtest for 5 loops n more... lower down again if u cant pass the 5 loops, thts wat i always did |
