Just finished burn-in my BT-d43 with memtest (dos) now. Before, the thightest timing i can boot to windows is 2.5-2-3-8 . After 9 hours of burn-in, guess wat. I'm now at 2-2-2-11. But, windows version of memtest giving me error around 14-15%. Not bad. will burn this baby again, tis night.

What test did you use to burn in? Test 5?
*
memtest ( dos version ) just let it run all night, but modify the timing from memtest ( advance option--> change all ). StarNet, my proc is XP-M ( default 133Mhz), dun wan to oc the proc while burn in, just want to burn the mem, not the proc. smile.gif . but if u wan sshot showing 1:1, 2-2-2-11, can give oso. i've just tried it.

actually tis is how i do it,

set the vdimm to the lowest, set the timing to the lowest can boot to dos, no need to set to boot to windows, configure memtest advanced option--->change all, set 2-2-2-2. After 9 hours, tis is the result. default my BT-D43 is cl3. Now can boot to windows at cl2, oledi very happy. Gonna push the fsb tonite, how much it can do on 2-2-2-X.

sshot on 1:1

erm... so that means u put tighest timing which enuf to boot to dos rite ? erm.. u sudden change all to 2-2-2-x... it won't auto reboot or hang etc ? memtest at dos can change vdimn anot ? or u use lowest vdimn to burn in aso ?
*
I'm not sure it's the right way to burn-in oso. But, after i changed the timing in memtest, it wont reboot / hang. Just seem to run as usual. at dos memtest, cannot change vdimm. i just set vdimm at 2.6v, which is the lowest at cl3 can boot.

Sadly, no improvement on higher fsb. sad.gif . But after playing wif the timing, guess what? I now been able to boot to windows at timing 2-2-1-2. Hmm.... time to go to work. smile.gif . will post sshot later.

i have 2x512MB Hynix Double Sided RAM @ Dual Channel

-RAM is Double Sided
-Chips on 1 side is DT-D43
-Chips on the other side is TP-D43

will this affect OCability if 1 piece of RAM has diff chips on both sides?
*
try 2T bios instead. mebe TP-D43 will limiting ur oc as it doesnt have good "reputation" here. but, it's best to try. smile.gif

yup... over 3.1v is considered high lorr... 2.9 still overload but not high. 2.7v is the highest in the whitepaper, but d43 operates best at 2.8 - 3.0 . i'm not worry to put 2.9 or 3.0 as it carries LT warranty. smile.gif

the 3-2-2-5 are only 4 of the many timings on AMD64
so while these 4 may be the same, other timings might be different

if all timings and setting are the same, they should give you the same performance
