hello fellow forumers and over clockers...i have a question to ask...i am running on 1x512mb apacer 3200 with the timing of 2.5-4-4-8...the question is: -

1) i plan to upgrade to 1gb....do i need to look out for timings 2.5-4-4-8? or can i buy another RAM which has the timing of 3-4-4-8?

ah thanks for shedding some light...yeah..i plan to add in another 512mb slot....was browsing through lowyats price list and saw their timings for pc3200 as 3-4-4-8 timings...so i went and check using EVEREST on my com...found out that the timing were 2.5-4-4-8...so was a little confused...they're running at 400mhz....200mhz per bank...


so basically so long as i get the same speed ratings...they will adjust to their timing...thanks alot..=)
