hmmm...senior members shoot each other

....anyway like to inform from my experience is that Hynix Bt-D43 is good if want to buy a value ram that can OC quite high as compare to other value ram....i got 6 stick of Hynix BT-D43 which I tested each of them using 2.5-4-4-8(1T) setting using DFI NF3 Ultra....the highset FSB they can go to complete 1 mil Super PI is as below....

Stick 1 - 275
Stick 2 - 268
Stick 3 - 267
Stick 4 - 267
Stick 5 - 263
Stick 6 - only able to run at stock setting (i think this one is Hynic CT-D43)

so I just choose two of the above (Stick 1 & Stick 2) to run dual channel at 267 fsb, crank up the voltage & run Prime04 to ensure everything is stable...peace notworthy.gif

my another 2 x 512mb KVR HYnix BT-D43 however able to run at 2.5-3-3-8(1T) at 260fsb

....but some can run their Hynix Bt/Dt-D43 at setting 2-2-2-X notworthy.gif

but ur voltage is 3.10v....i think stable for dt-d43 is 2.9v.
*
will try to reduce the voltage & see whether can stable....but with current voltage, no problem as per the screenie.........

my old 2 x 512MB Kingston KVR DDR 400 with Hynix BTD-43 (single sided) seems have to go for high voltage to pass thru prime SP2004, anything lower SP2004 will ended with error status...set the voltage at 3.1v for the DDR to maintain 2.5-3-3-6 at 250 FSB....... blush.gif

Well its like driving a car cruising at 120km/h with different rpms. Which one gives u more power ?

A) 120km/h @ 4000 rpm

B) 120km/h @ 6000 rpm

When u oc the rams, the proc speed will increase too giving extra processing power. Smoother while handling loads of data at 1 time using big capacity and higher speeds.
*
but if from ur house going to ur neighbour house next door (equivalent like wanna use only for MS Office), u don't need either speed at either rpm since just near only (that MS Office software don't need much processing power), but if wanna go to ur "jauh-jauh neighbour" like from KL to Terengganu (like using video encoding), u might need fast processing power to "cepat sampai" (fast processing)..... rclxub.gif sori....if the explaination a little bit rclxub.gif coz me also rclxub.gif now.... blush.gif biggrin.gif

Haha. If go to neighbour house take 5 minutes, by overclocking probably u need just 3 minutes. brows.gif

heh heh heh by you don't drive ur car to ur next door neighbour, so don't need ferrari to go next door......

Btw anybody have D43's that can go beyond 260mhz other than gengstapo and me ?  unsure.gif  unsure.gif
*
i got another set of Hynix BT-D43 but however 256mb stick......one can do 274fsb and another can do 268fsb...so when use both of them I can run 267fsb at 2.5-4-4-8 1T but as usual all my Hynix BT-D43 love 3.1v blush.gif ..... notworthy.gif

did post this before but dunno which thread
