QUOTE(ahpaul82 @ Aug 19 2005, 10:07 AM) Default timing for Kingston Value RAM is 3-3-3-8 ma latest cpuz also cant detect my ram timing. so nothing wrong there. anyway, i saw 2.5-3-3-8 Kingston Value RAM b4. Hynix chipset can easily do CL2.5, If you are lucky enough can do CL2.0 too. you can download lastest CPU-Z and see can detect correct your RAM timing or not. my dt-d43(apacer) SPD is 3-4-4-8. but SiSoftware Sandra and everst show tat is 3-4-4-( 5 ). i did set my ram timing from 3-4-4-8 to 2.5-3-3-7 n also 2.5-3-3-6 in bios. it show tat is 2.5-3-3-( 5 ). y? now trying to to cl2. |

QUOTE(ceo684 @ Nov 19 2005, 02:27 AM) KVR BT-D43 also defaulted to CL3 (SPD). U mean the TP-D43 is CL3 optimised isit? Mine didn't like CL2 at 190fsb 2.8v relative 1T? wat tats mean? sorry, i m noob in oc section. Update: Memtest 240fsb 2T 3-4-4-11 2.9v on NF7, errored out ~20 addresses. So I downclock to 235fsb 2T 3-4-4-11 2.9v, no errors at all. Any idea what the relative 1T (fsb) result should be? mine 1 is 233MHz 1T 2.5-3-3-7, 2.7v, can go up summore or not? how? using apacer dt-d43. |

QUOTE(PCcrazy @ Jan 6 2006, 07:03 PM) CT-D43 is good chipset and capable of scaling around DDR500 or more. But it's not as preferable as the likes of TCCD, Winbond BH-5 etc. Performance wise it's quite similar to DT-D43 if not better. But like all Hynix chipsets, at high frequency it's incapable of tight timing. I have never had any experience with CT-D43 however, but based on my estimation it should very well behave in similar fashion of D43 chipsets. Nevertheless, I've heard the CT-D43 were rated at higher frequency by default. kingmax ddr400, not sure about the pcb but it doesnt looks like brainpower.Anyway, D43 equals to DDR400 (represented by 4) while 3-3-3-8 timing (represented by 3) Btw, what brand of RAM is having that CT-D43? Are they generic PCB? |
