nforce2 ... eventhough it's running dual channel, the bandwidth is still like single channel, because the buswidth is still 64-bit.

QUOTE(Cyclone87 @ Jan 10 2006, 08:54 PM)
Anyone got some guide for DT-d43 mem setting in bios?
Mine used to run 8-3-3-3.0 240htt on my MSI K8N neo (Nforce3) ...and today i change it to another mobo using nforce4 also by msi. But..on stock setting...i cant set CL 3.0..it will just hang like BH5/BH6. And..i cant get stable even at 13-6-6-2.5 at 225mhz.
Now force to run at DDR270 in order to hentam 2.5ghz. Anyway..if 1 stick..no prob..2 stick give me headache in NF3/NF4 mobo. Got any tips for the setting?  whistling.gif
what processor/mobo is that?

No different I think...  sweat.gif
not necessarily

you might forgot that amd k8 has extra memory timing that responds to the module SPD

Command per clock (CPC) ON = 1T
Command per clock (CPC) OFF = 2T

not sure if the Intel's PAT enabled/disabled is the same thing or not

FP-Y5 Rev.B is the most overclockable so far.

As for FP-C4... not too sure which rev. is the best, but some are just average and some are good.
