QUOTE(incinerate @ Mar 30 2006, 12:46 AM) Team XTREEM DT-D43 @ 250 2.5-4-4-8 Just for your information DT-D43 on KVR mostly capable of 260+ at 2.5-4-4-8 if not 2.5-3-3-8 @ 1T. I believe yours had more potential, seek it slowly. This post has been edited by PCcrazy: Mar 30 2006, 08:10 PM

Wao,your RAM can reach 268Mhz at 3-4-4-8.That's consider very high power already. You are setting the RAMs running on what voltage?

as i mentioned earlier. i have already bought the bt-d43. i paired it up with my dt-d43. so both running on dual channel at 210 , stable. 512mb DT & BT-d43 running at 210 ( 2 - 3 - 3 - 11 ) i cud go as far as 221 but not stable while priming the cpu-z is attached. i'm trying to go higher.. or is it my cpu limitation .. AXP 2200++

AXP 2200++ Try lower the timing to 2.5-3-3-8, used to do 240x9 on my AXP 1700+ on that timings, but i guess maybe your BT-D43 is holding back your DT

Typical standard procedure for overclocking the hynix based chipset:
Set the timing at 3-4-4-8 to begin with and scale the frequency until errors show out. When the limit is found try to adjust the timing in memtest to 3-3-3-8 to see if the same capability exist.
Reason as per suggestion : Most of the hynix show true colors at this timing. 3-3-3-8 is okay but results differs greatly, some 3-3-3-8 would go only 215 and some would go as far 260. But most 3-4-4-8 would go 250. So I suggest if you are new to this, begin with 3-4-4-8.
My advice is to always start overclocking from the loosest to the tightest, the same applies to proc and graphics card.
