hey all...

still loving and taking good care of my E71. a question though.

i can't seem to load Ovi Maps on my phone unless I'm connected to the internet/3G, but a staff at a Nokia shop told me that you can access Maps anywhere without the need for connection.

Having a bit of headache with this. I do have Garmin but I want a backup GPS too cos my Garmin sometime takes a while to detect satelite.

I'm using rubber/silicone casing... just the cheap ones going for less than RM20 by handphone stalls. The rule of thumb is to protect the edges where they're exposed to scratches whenever you put in your pocket or on the table.

Also I type with my thumb and not nails so the keypad still looks brand new...

I've been using the Epikcase version of this and it works great. Protects the edges from scratches and not too bulky. just a bit difficult to press the on/off button, but rarely do so anyway.

Does anyone know how to save chat history on WhatsApp?

Hi, wondering if this E71 can be charged in the car via a universal USB charger? battery runs out fast when I use GPS. I don't want to buy a specific Nokia car charger because I want to use the device to charge other electronics like mp3 player... :s thanks guys.

There are a few apps for this. Youlu is the more popular one. I'm using ThreadSMS. There's another one I've used before but I forgot the name..

Same thing. My E71 is coming to 2 years and it takes hours to charge fully, and the battery drains pretty quickly too.
