Wow, V5 oledi for E71, Good job for bro xavi , keeping all the updates in the thread. and now V410 for E71, this phone's value is just geting greater. . My colleague just bought a E72, however i see that it's not as stable as E71. So will let him explore more. some thing i notice is E72 have a good display which the wallpaper is "full screen" not like E71, the top and bottom bar can't change it. unless using theme.

I seldom use it..but i seem hard to logon and navigate in cafe wifi. Maybe update to V410 helps? just asking the feedback on stability of the V410. Thanks

No wonder la, the default browser always DC. I connect wifi, and the phone always use default browser. have to open opera 1st only connect wifi. if not it always use default browser which is a problem in signing in some website.

Hmm..well for yr case, i know that duplicated copy of contact will make the phone display number instead of names. So i think u might somehow pressed some action which is copy contact / duplicte contact. So all yr contact is duplicated in a yr phone directory, causing it only display number now.

Any how, since the V410 is having problem. So far which Version of update is most probally stable in known history? As i know previous i heard is V210.21.006. any update after this is more stable? i mean Asian version..with chi input.

Well, E71 still a nice phone in terms of getting task done, it serve the purpose well. Plus the battery is still my Op in a phone, been thru the frustration of worrying battery level in the car and outstations.

It's now V500 for the firmware. really been updating fast..but i think i'll update it soon since that my V300 looks like having some problem with the connection of wifi, it always seem unstable in web browsing in the original browser and also my opera.

But before i update, just like to ask bros of E71 user here. My E71 i used NSU to update b4 and it wipe out my chinese language option in system. So to get it..i think i have to flash and enter a Singapore code. But just HOW did the guys in lowyat can Install a SG version firmware and REMAIN the product code?

Cause if possible i just not try to flash and tangle with things i not familiar.. any alternate ways or suggestion from Bros here?

Then confirm i have to flash it. Mine is AP and My code is NOT found in the "uncle google" and internet list of code. I once use NSU to update..and confirm all Chinese support in language and sms is gone. So not Asia region code. i have to go bc to the shop for the technician to help me do it..but after he's done. the code is still the same, he didn;t even change to Asia region code.

Added on October 1, 2010, 5:34 pmWell, not sure. I am always facing wifi problem, that's y i seldom wifi at cafe..trustrated. My problem is after i define a Wifi point, i fire up MSN and it is mostly 90% fail to login msn. Then i fire up web, browsing is also slow and scrolling is a pain. Then i use Opera mini V4, also give me slow and wifi breakage. Not only 1 point..all wifi point also same. Now only thing i satisfy is the Garmin which guided few times. That's all, Wifi with E71 to me is like a pain in the A**, never works smoothly.

Well that time didn't really think of doing it cause less confident of changing the code. But i think since now V500 is out..so it should be time to update it. Cause the wifi problem and opera makes my phone like isolated. Use only for pickup, call and garmin.

hi bros, just updated to V500, but wifi not stable, when detected, the other second will DC, scaning always not stable. anyone encounter this? cause i check with my colleagues using iphone, his one is stable. no problem connecting wifi. but my E71 will DC and not detect wifi.. any problem like this in V500?
