Although this phone is aging day by day, I feel it is still serving me well. It can still get things done (emailing, sms, GPS, music etc) but not in a fancy way though.

No lag problems here, unless I'm Installking something big in the background to the memory card - or something. But understand the E71 has a slow processor, so it feels slow even when there's no lag compared to, say the E72.

Typically running Gravity  UCBrowser  iSMS  Jbaktaskman  background processes for Socially  Freetimebox  Battery Extender  nokia messaging  smart settings and plantask. Free ram 55MBs. No or very little lag,

You just need to learn how to manage symbian, as long as you make sure needed apps and background services are promptly killed, things should be okay. Also restart once in a while to free up RAM.

recently my phone back light keep on kelip kelip.. dont know y.. and if on garmin xt navigating it will kelip kelip once every 2 sec.. i wonder y?

i think i got the fake ORI batt. damn it. charged full less then half an hour. low bat after 2 hour. haish. how much is the ori at nokia center. anyone? or other solution?

hi guys, i just updated my nokia e71 to latest firmware and it seem like my new quickoffice cannot be use. anyone know what is the problem?

i'm using momax x-level BP-4L...so far so good (4mths already)..can last me minimum 24hrs+++ with whatsapp running..use the phone a lot for office work. i can't describe how much work but if u used whatsapp before, u'll know that its good enough can last 24hrs...hehe..

nowadays, i dont really take care of my battery, low only then i charge straight away..hehe now i consider practical, dun care bout the battery life anymore...hehe only thing is i don't do overnight charging..charge in the morning at work or night before dinner.

i agree..but nowadays flip pouch all bulky and since i'm changing the casing, i dont use any anymore...

i can't say better..'almost' comparable...since its valued alot less, its worth it to me..

updated to latest FW but realised the quickoffice not working as well, any ideas why besides reinstalling the FW? (very mahfarn)

hi guys, recently i got problem surfing using opera mobile using wifi,
the error something like "connection error' or something, like i'm not connected to the wifi.

thinking of hard reset the phone. better back-up my data first.

hi bros, just updated to V500, but wifi not stable, when detected, the other second will DC, scaning always not stable. anyone encounter this? cause i check with my colleagues using iphone, his one is stable. no problem connecting wifi. but my E71 will DC and not detect wifi.. any problem like this in V500?

I'm using rubber/silicone casing... just the cheap ones going for less than RM20 by handphone stalls. The rule of thumb is to protect the edges where they're exposed to scratches whenever you put in your pocket or on the table.

Also I type with my thumb and not nails so the keypad still looks brand new...
