maybe your AP Elm,, isnt from Asia Pasific Region...

maybe you can ask the seller to install the chinese language[i.e firmware] ..why need to pay extra..? just ask if they can do it for free..


the GPS navigation is trial only. AFAIK...

and you need connection when using Wisepilot navigation as it will download the maps through connection..



thats why we recommend you better Nokia product if GPS is concern... as there are some models with free OVI MAPS

yeah.. now X6 is comes with free Ovi Maps.. free navigation too..

everything is free.,.

but if you want navigate without connect to internet.. just turn off a-gps and go offline in settings

basically.. if want to compare maps... the garmin maps that provide by malfreemaps/malsingmaps is better than Ovi Maps..

yes. both can navigate free.. after some configuration of setting



but well.. OVi Maps is free . navigation. voice guided and maps is free for some nokia products[high end and latest included]//


Garmin need to buy the license .. a lifetime license/package.. worth RM 350 / USD99.. but well..there are 3rd party that provide free maps[Malaysia] and it is updated weekly.. ,malfreemaps.com

5800xm is old
c6 has qwerty keyboard and its pretty good too,new,
x6 is quite old but it is the best for music and camera among them,

there are thousands phone in your budget, it would be nice if you could state your requirement and needs

lol.. mp is nothing.,.. even 1.3mp also can beat the 2mp .. its depend on lens and focal lens...

mp is just size.. and its important if you want to print bigger picture.. imagine 5mp how big..?? even we always print in 4R/3R size only.. sweat.gif

HTC touch HD2 would be the best.. but its price is high --> RM 1700

maybe can go for HTC Touch Pro 2

Nokia navigator?? in those model..? no need internet connection if you not need A-GPS....
i'm not sure if there are routes that can be download... but map can be downloaded FREE... .. so.. just search and choose destination... and then.. it will show you the route[you can adjust too]

both has integrated GPS..
if you aim for only gps function...
5230 is better as it has bigger screen than c5


the different of garmin gps and nokia's gps is ... the software itself...
both are different softwares.. and the maps are different from each other..and developed by different parties...

well.. ovi maps is latest version of nokia maps.. , it is free too.. well.. the advantages are.. it has 3D maps , and has Malay language[ wink.gif ] , the maps for ovi maps is kinda okay.. although it isnt so well updated...

garmin maps has no 3D maps and Malay language.. but there are parties that developed and build,create maps which is excellent... it is Malfreemaps and malsingmaps... the maps is far far better than ovi maps.. it is updated weekly....

In terms of durability and GPS it is bad..

Aino also well known as one of the worse SE handphone in software stability..

better opt another better phone..- vivaz / nokia x6 / nokia c6 ..etc..
