vivaz pro perhaps...
better screen resolution, hd video recording with autofocus, good camera...

oic, satio oso symbian but worse & more costy than vivaz...
slow & buggy software, hangs often...
camera is pretty the same, but vivaz cheaper & with hd video...vivaz pro has qwerty

android+ good cam o.0
htc dun seems is a choice, their camera still nids lots improvements...their best camera performance on androids r legend/aria...which over budget[1.5k+]
wildfire's camera is below par.. tattoo oso...

so x10 mini only i guess...

& malaysia has pretty less choices of androids...mostly u can find @ gsmarena, u cant get at malaysia mayb haven release/cdma devices..

the camera is ok, however theres still some oversharpening but its quite fine...
the video recording is pretty ok too, pleasing colours & fine details but got some compression artifacts

XT720[1.7k ap/1.9k++ ori]'s camera is pretty fine, but when its come to low contrast area, it pretty fail to deal with it as theres no contrast/sharpness/saturation settings~
HD video? no! its not as good as in spec sheets, high compression & low framerate...
loud & clear audio!

both moto droids lacks of flash support in web browser, no smart dialing & no DivX/XviD support for video player

u could get XPERIA X10[1.5k++ ap 1.8k++ ori] with the price of XT720, but its up to u~
main disadvantage of x10 is old OS & lacks of (anyway useless on XT720) HD video...
but SE promises the update will bring u the HD Video & the 2.1 upgrade!! & x10 using snapdragon 1GHz as proc! x10 has better lifetime/call time
x10's camera is far more better than the motos but LED flash instead of Xenon, which you cant do as well as XT720 @ night shots...& u got no fm radio[what?!]
WVGA @ 30fps video is pleasing enough, might enough to compare against the [anyway useless] HD video of XT720's
again, lacks of smart dialing, flash support & no DivX/XviD support
no pinch-zooming on web browser, relies on +/- button~
feeble loudspeaker but great audio quality~! no multi touch~

might consider HTC desire[1.8k++ap/2k+ ori]
AMOLED & Snapdragon, has flash support & smart dialing
Video recording is below par, low contrast, bad details & somewhat like washed out colours, low framerate..
audio quality is nice, somewhat like X10 delivers
camera is ok[the best from HTC i guess, don't expect much about camera from HTCs it can't compare with motos/SE]
There are rumors about DivX 720p video recording coming up within the next firmware update along with the native DivX support itself
htc desire will get Froyo soon and that should raise its video recording capabilities to HD heights.

but when galaxy s with froyo update, there will be come up with flash support for web browser~

Go for xt720 dude. I'm using it now and the performance after least tweaking is better than htc desire. I would say its one of a kind phone considering it has xenon flash which is pretty rare in phone arena

Anything else fellow xt720ians will guide you through the wonderous that this phone can offer. You can search around a bit for lowest price singapore set. I got mine at rm1250 only Well, that's promotional price though the cheapest available now is around rm1.4k or rm1.35k

Might be a bit bias on my part but the brand is always a factor to me. In this case its like USA vs UK/Jpn vs Taiwan vs Korea. I definitely will go for the American dream

for me  ill go for 5800XM anytime for wifi. Save alot of money there for update or download email or even online
