Hi guys~ I need advice from you all~
I am looking for a smartphone or a PDA I would prefer HTC is possible but don't mind trying out other brand. I normally will want to use my phone for 1)online browsing (just casual surfing like IM, blogs, reading comic, email), 2)phone that is able to read ms office format, pdf, and other normal organizing function (planner, etc). 3)decent camera I am currently using HTC tytn2 and the touchscreen is getting more and more insensitive (sometimes don't response). So I hope to change a phone which has a screen size bigger than 2.8". My budget will be around 1 k to 1.5k. Thats all, hope its not too verbose~ =P Thanks! N900 is the good phone.. no regret using it..Any altenative with below specs at around the same price ? -Wi-Fi -touchscreen -QWERTY keyboard -5 MP or above If not , what other recommendation ? there are another alternatives such as Motorola Milestone.. but for me.. N900 is better than Milestone.. QUOTE(super_evil_alien @ Jun 19 2010, 06:24 PM) Motorola Milestone. there are a lot of difference..Have the same hardware more or less. Only main difference is Milestone is using capacitive screen while N900 using resistive screen. Milestone VS N900 1. capacitive vs resistive. Yes.. capacitive is nice .. but some people prefer use resistive so that can use stylus pen 2. 133MB internal memory VS 32GB internal memory .. both has card slot.. .. so N900 has big storage [internal vs external] 3. both has almost same camera performance , Milestone has no front camera , N900 has front camera 4. Android VS Maemo.. well Android is growing OS though , and it will continue growing 5. both has same processor and graphic accelerator 6. no FM radio and FM transmitter VS has both features both has almost same performance.. thx for the reply, kae7, another question, both hero n legend are android phone, milestone too right? i am not using any data plan, so is it advisable to use android? i'm afraid it'll connect to d net without me knowing it.. 10 sen per 10kb is killing! or is there setting to force d phone totally off d autoconnect setting??? thanks.

As far as I know.. there will be no auto connected issues if you know your phone setting very well..
unless you using application that will autoconnected... From the Home screen, press MENU, and then tap Settings > Wireless & networks. Select the Mobile network check box to turn on the data connection; clear the check box to turn off the data connection. then.. the data connection will off... so no autoconnect This post has been edited by kae7: Jun 20 2010, 12:38 AM |

QUOTE(Gorgan @ Jun 19 2010, 11:10 PM) Hi guys~ I need advice from you all~ Stick with Windows Mobile. Outlook Sync is much better as you can link both your PC organizer and Mobile Device organizer to share the same schedule. Web surfing, Andriod OS will have a better experience if you're talking within HTC compound.I am looking for a smartphone or a PDA I would prefer HTC is possible but don't mind trying out other brand. What's a good camera phone with a lens cover. Not too concerned with budget or OS, but must be able to sync with oulook and have decent web experience.
