Since I didnt get the manual one, so they deducted 68 from the 280. I then get the solenoid one for additional 280 bucks! No regrets, work like a charm...hehehe now need to get a timer.

Guys, i'm new to this planted aquarium, where i can get those flora/fauna in KL (i lived in Bkt Jalil)?? Been to East Aqua at Ikano/Mid Valley and Jln Pasar, any other place to recommend? TQ.

dont put guppy i found out guppy quite useless... they wont swim to bottom to eat the worm... i would prefer some tetra rm 1 each... simple and fast... guess what my sae eat those worm too haha !!

I love this plant. Didn't take long to grow them for me. Having root tabs helps speed things up. At one point I have too many of them that they crowded the tank.

This pic was taken a few weeks AFTER trimming the Blyxa and replanting some of them.

Not that great ler. I neglected it and didn't give proper fertilization or maintenance. The plants are healthy, except maybe the lotus and glosso, but really not good in terms of aquascaping.

The scissors? RM30-RM50 i think when I got it a few years ago. You can go for cheaper stainless steel ones that I used when I started out. Then I got scared it might leech something bad into the aquarium.

I think there's still the Ocean Free set that comes with tweezers and scissors.

Pet Family got sale. Got myself an old model eheim hob for RM4x.

They have aquarium sets too.

The aquarium sets are really decent price.

RM107 for a 2ft cabinet, RM3xx for a used 4ft bow front aquarium and RM140 for a GENOAH set with HOB and light.

Here's the 4" fan I'm using for my 2ft. Really strong. Temperature is about 27C when lights are off and 28C when lights are on. Using the same type of fan for my 3ft tank to achieve the same effect. Surface ripple is really strong.

But note that by using this fan, I don't have much room for lights. I'm only using 55w PL for this shrimp/moss tank. Running an eheim HOB and a 2215 for this tank.
