Can fert or excel kill CRS ?.. my CRS alway dies when i did the fert and excel dose.. I only user like 2 drop of the fert only though.. any advice?

Y'day I was setting up my nano tank and setting up this filter for the first time, so after assembling everything, put the inlet/outlet in the tank, then I was staring at it, how to get it to start!

I remember ppl mentioning about this 'priming', and some suck using mouth. So i did that and managed to get the water to flow out to a basin...but power still not on yet. When I switch on the power, the flow became greater, which is good.

But when I try to reposition the inlet, ie took it out, it sucked air and then the filter couldnt function properly. I had to open up the canister and remove all water and suck again.

Is there a better method if I take out the inlet? Also there is a open/close thing on top of the filter, what is the function ah?

What would you do if you need to clean the filter?

The manual came in chinese and I dun read chinese!!

Got it from Natural Aquatics at Subang Seksyen 19. I sapu the last 2 I love the shape and the texture. It's actually round in shape due to Mother Nature. So wonderful.

Did you just add in the moss? It could be adapting.

And what is the temperature of the tank?
