reflector i cant remember. acrylic stand is custom made by acrylic factory, he did not charge me single sen for it, maybe my dad having some business with him i think.

p/s : my dad is having about custom furniture service, so i think he order acrylic from him.

the one i using still is normal metal reflector. the best one is ALUMINIUM reflector. that one expensive. u are planning use how many of T5 tubes ?

TheAngel, yea.. before that i got the same problem. dunno use what material to be the stand, wood cannot, but end up i asked the acrylic boss do for me, working well for me. of cause, dont do comparision to the market one la.

the stand i made is for:
i, increase the distance between the light and the water surface. so that can provide a better effects.
ii, lighting too close the water surface, i worry about will heat the temperature up.
iii, formed a bigger space between lighting set and water surface, now my hand can go in the tank without moves the lighting away

i also looking for mini surface skimmer since im 1ft tank only, but end up i having ugly looking big surface skimmer in my 1ft tank.

ask michanz. i know he needs it

off light dont helps. i asked marcus, he suggest me do more WC. clean up filter, but maybe because of no SAE. the BBA still coming slowly..

wow. charming BBA. exactly look like those in my tank now...

green colour algae still acceptable. + some natural looking. but the black colour + hairy really cannot tahan...

the surface skimmer wont suck the air in as well ? my cheap hob giving me this problem. after sucked in air, will causing some noise. end up i use a canister instead of the hob.
