BBA is hard? BBA is the easiest algae to get rid of. Try hair algae. a bigger pain..

For the last time guys. TARGET ATTACK THE BBA WITH EXCEL CONCENTRATED WITH SYRINGE WITH FILTERS OFF. sure to kill em.

And I still dare say it. Easiest algae to take care of.

Causes of BBA,

Imbalance c02 output.. ( unstable also would make BBA come )( I find this to play the most crucial point for BBA - pump in as much as you can without killing your fauna)

Plainly bad water quality...
=overdose or food, ferts or anything. To overdose is killer.

poor maintenance regime

badly maintained canister filter.

Fix all this and the BBA will go away slowly and naturally. Tried , tested, and proven in my own tanks.
Hmm, those steps sounds like a general rule to all algae anyway. but....

Feel FREE TO CORRECT ME - was just suggesting an effective method of getting rid of them. (excel)

========

P/s, this info can easily be found over GOOGLE.

Freestyler = still want to freestyle or finally get into track? LOL. Glosso melting means bad environment provided not enough light, c02 provided maybe?, hence melting causes imbalance in certain water qualities, hence leading to algae outbreak.

Cheers.

There's only 1 type of HC.. the other 'stem' one is known as HM.. (unless it has changed without me knowing, in that case, sorry for the doubt )

Liquid c02 works, but not as effective to certain plants.
