Sen Q is smart a**e , they offer the price here maybe it looks like RM5899 + blu ray player.

If you go and check at their shop, they will have different story awaiting for you. One is member price and non-member price.

I had been tricked few times , when they used to offer LCD + DVD Player but then its member & non-member price.

So dont fall to their smart traps.. sweat.gif

that smasung BD player is basic model, i think might be around market price 800-900. The TV price lately has drop significantly. ~RM4900. I even read another thread people selling RM4k...http://forum.lowyat.net/index.php?showtopic=1163512

It is definity expansive. Yesterday I check with Seng Heng Puchong branch, they are willing to let go at RM 4500 + free wall mounting. One of the Forumer is selling new unit at RM 3950.

kevin do delivery also.

if u feel not secure, u can get it from Ms.Chua
http://forum.lowyat.net/topic/872728

Her shop is at Bukit Mertajam town. Her price is quite competitive too.
In fact most of the electrical shops there also quite competitive in price compare to KL.

6000 and 7000 having exactly the same PQ, except series 7 has more features, like DLNA, etc... 8000 is 200Hz... that is why i ask 6000 and 8000 models.

What r u talking about? For a fella who has 1522 postings in 2 short months posting at a rate of 25 posts a day, u don't read much eh? 50" full HD plasma at rm5k is a fact, not advertising.

I said so many times oredi. I was offered rm5000 for Panny 50" Full HD n rm3800 for Panny 50" HD Ready plasma. I was buying it for my mother who watches Astro only, so I took the HD Ready unit. This was at a shop in Seremban who had to order stock from KL Distro. So, just about any KL shop shud be doing the same prices. Just don't go to big places like Best Denki or Harvey Norman.

Now that u know, go out n buy ur 50" Full HD plasma. Very, very, very cheap only, faster go grab 1. brows.gif

I am using this in my living hall now, no choice to go for plasma since I need HD for easier PC support, turn out that I cant support 1920x1080 natively via HDMI, but fine wiith VGA.. Still unable to trace the problem yet.

The TV is so far so good, nothing to comment, guess I am not too picky about TV after all..

Bought it @ 4850 if not mistaken, during CNY

Like the Man said 'IF you don try hard you are unable to differentiate the slight variation in PQ.'

What aspect in terms of 'reliability' are you expecting?
Every manufacturer have issue with certain model. Different models have different problems. Some problems has been over come in later generation, but do remember TV these days are becoming consumable, that is they are not manufactured to last. Their life span is about 6-7 years before they start to show signs of aging, so do think carefully before paying 'TOO' much or 'beyond your budget' for it.
And if you consider technology, their life span is even shorter!

to me, 6000 and 7000 are showing the same PQ. So, there is no point to go for 7000 unless you want the extra TV features, like media files playback from usb, dlna, etc. If i am to choose, my choices are only 6000 or 8000. Too bad 8000 is too expensive.

I knew the price difference between 40" LED and 50" Plasma , and I went for a LED for my living hall mainly 2 factors :-

(1) 50" too big for my hall ,is crazy to sit even 10 feet away !
(2) when you wall mounted a thinnest ever LED TV compare to a 50" plasma side by side , LED wins hand down.

I have no regret and I will connect my Apple TV to LED and playing Itunes with Album Arts and playing family photos , the 40" LED just perfect rclxms.gif

I kinda disagree with (1).

I have a 55" from 10ft and it's getting smaller by the day... wished I had a 65" now so... I'll say bigger is always better wink.gif

Same advice as ron.

50" - 10ft is pretty small. They look much smaller then the sound....And they look smaller after about 1 week. Then u wished u had a bigger display. Of course a projector with a 2.35:1 screen at 133 diagonal is just about right.... smile.gif

If thin is in, then u're in the right direction!

Most important, u're happy!

What's the cheapest price for 55B7000? I saw RM11.5K at my local retailer. Previously SenQ selling around RM13K.
