Since i'm still a kiddo. Tat day me n my dad go to Lowyat bcoz he wanted to buy me wii as present . (we come from penang de, go to lowyat juz for wii. But of coz got house at kl)

Still....every single shop i ask at Lowyat about Unmodded US version, they said "Nop dun hv"
Then i ask "Wher can get one?"
One of the guy said "Wat use u buy tat version? We already modded korea version to become english n can play all ehem game"

My dad tat duno anything bout game was like...WTF "He is demn rude" . Then my dad edy pissed off....n i keep asking more n more shop at lowyat, n i keep get the same answer.

Despite my dad not in gud mood edy, i quickly found a shop tat kinda hidden, he sell Wii korean modded RM899. while the rude guy sell rm999.

sOO...eventhou i know if i buy this, i wont be able to go online at all n i'm supporting piracy. But wat to do...Even lowyat itself dint sellf orginal Wii =_="

yup you are right. Here in Lowyat dont have wii usa. You have to go to Playtime Bangsar. They have original wii USA

why d heck did u go to lowyat to look for ori US wii. lowyat is for people who don't mind being scammed. and y u support them korean wii sellers. they should be banished from the face of the earth from making a simple task of owning a wii soooo complicating for most of us. and people like u should be the first to pull d trigger, yet u support them. what la.

Dun worry, I understand ur predicament. But do chill a little bit. Actually, this is a forum that does anti-piracy items. But people have been smart to cover the tracks. But Low Yat plaza, that's another case now (Since Tech-Asia closed down. )

What for you want a shop?Nowadays the trend is do online business. For a shop you still need to pay rent. But I agree many people still cannot accept the concept of 'online trading'. Btw, when is your Wii renting service will come out, kyo?

Still looking into its feasibility. not that easy to roll it out ya know. huhu.

Shop is just to get rid of the fear of online trading. That's pretty much it. We're still traditional malaysians. All the things we buy we're better off going to the shop and getting it. huhu.

I agree with the shop part. Even my parents are still skeptical about transferring money into someone's account for buying stuff online. But for cheap affordable stuff they're still fine with it after some persuasion.

well, if you really did some research on korean modded wii's...

they can go online...but you just really need to be careful with them (just don't use the connect 24 function)

but if you really are an anti piracy enthusiast...then i don't want to tell you the benefits of a modded wii...XD

the not so benefit side is that there may be some not so properly installed channels (mii channel and photo channel)...so, you just need to solve that with your friend google...if you have that problem...

i edy did research....lots of hours spend. i'm...not realy gud de in engineering....so i duno whether i enter the correct thread o not when i enter a wbsite.

its really a complicating subject this one. if u search through internet general concensus say your wii is doomed. however there are some who report it was fixed. but they are in the minority, and they could also be bluffing. but if u ask me, i would say it probably can, but it is difficult coz it depends of lot of factors. in other words, its an engineering subject.

so, go get that ps3.
