Dear Sifus,

I'm planning to buy the Sharp AQUOS 32" LC32A37M.

But I'm wondering if it would totally suck with timing intensive games on Computer or Wii.

I understand that if I use HDMI cable for computer -> TV, it should reduce the lag substantially.

But since Wii display output is 480i, and since LC32A37M native resolution 1366 x 768, looks like there will be substantial lag.

Problem is, I cannot check if LC32A37M has a game mode.

Any suggestions on whether LC32A37M is a good gaming TV?

Thank you in advance.

HDMI cable got nothing to do with lag. laugh.gif It doesn't matter what LCD u buy, it's still gonna lag. It's an inherent trait.

maybe he meant ghost trailing , that would be due to the nature of old LCD, but frankly speaking I dun notice it thru my peasant eyes blush.gif

Thanks bro.

What model TV are you using?

by HDMI connection, you mean the 15 pin (white) thing that comes out from your graphic card?

it is an obsolete panasonic 42lz80 n x10
my vga got hdmi output , so it is hdmi - hdmi ,
dvi - hdmi via adapter is feasible too btw

edit:
game like sega sonic all star racing is lagging is due to wii processor power, not coz by tv
