Can get a rocket filter. Personally using Delcol. Try doing your research and determine which best suits your payment ability, and the maintenance as well as replacement costs.

Forgot the price, roughly RM3k - 4k. quite a medium-big one.

To buy, just go to any distributor, and press them for a discount.

Also look at the service and maintenance costs, as with all other brands of filters.

and
- AQ8100, MAGNETISED ENERGY WATER indoor water filter?

Wateq is 0.01 micron membrane type filter seems very good and the price also quite low.

Use the puregen UF2500, personally i have use diamond water filter before. Cost me about RM 2,800, starting use feel ok. However later you can see the indoor drinking filter the filter is yellowish a bit. Inside i also using diamond watre filter. It is because i am diamond dealer before. Why like that, it is because diamond master filter micro is 10 micro but UF2500 is 0.01 micro. So who is cleaner of couse UF 2500. However the filter will more dirty so is easy to stuck. How to solve it? The filter will auto clean every 3 or 6 hour. It either use battery or connect to auto gate system. Of course autogate is more convenient no need change battery after it flat. Auto flush just normal wash, you still need to manual wash every month, just turn on the switch only.

So what is the price. IS only RM 1,400 with installation and the auto system. Before using this product still wanted install diamond master filter. After use this product and love it so much. No only save cost but also can filter the dirt. My father is the contractor, and we are selling the filter as well. Frankly speaking don;t try the micro 10 filter or the sand. Compare to puregen UF2500, is a big different.

If you want to order can PM me? I will call you soon.

hey thr..my fam is currently using this jantzen bac free system...half a yr ad, so far so good..
my mom likes it coz it has this auto back wash system n timer so it'll auto cleanse the system..no fuss..
thr's also this purity checker which shows u how clean is the water tat's coming into our house, if it gets brown/yellowish means system got prob n water is not clean...but so far ok..the thing is still clean n white..

ok, i dunno a lot abt tech stuff, i mean thr's all kinds of water puri system now..all promises good quality..

but i guess after sales service is wad really matters, we've been using biopure previously, it cost a lot of trouble, spent a lot to fix it..then my mom complaints coz she always get diff ppl calling up saying they're frm elken n asking us to sign up for the service package..annoying..

the one we're using now is good...got free maintainence service..
they auto call us up to make appointment for it, service is good..

when we first moved into our new house my dad actually wanted to try diamond..but after i saw this youtube video showing hongkong news reporting diamond water is a scam..lol..we definitely dun dare to try it anymore..

so if u're considering this system, i really recommend it.. thumbup.gif

Hmm....for alkaline ion water you wont need it as your outdoor water filter......
So choose the AMWAY one.....=)

Use the alkaline one for the indoor water filter attached to your drinking source....

I know it's good to have clean water for yr face and everything, but if you only drinks super clean water, your anti body will be weak and when u take outside food, it's risky to yr body tht time.

i had installed Jantzen Bacteria Free Purification System outdoor filter. it was good as they provide membrane filtration which filtered til 0.01 micron of impurities and bacterias.they hv longer warranty period as compared to others, and i can ensure that the water go into my house is clean as the purity checker will always ensure clean water supplied to my house. it is hassle free as there’s auto timer to do the flushing of the membrane daily so i dun have to worry that i forgotten to do the cleansing of the filter. and d best thing is that they provide free service which technician will come to do the servicing routinely and they will contact me automatically once the service is due. im awaiting for the service due to see hows their after service provided. but so far i’m happy and satisfied with the filter i bought with them. i gotta know this brand thru this site www.jantzen-uf.com. you can check it out if your are looking for quality water for yourself. rclxms.gif rclxm9.gif

personally, i think outside filter should use media with sand/silica so that they can filter the impurities/mud. for internal filter, then you can have your choice of membrane filters/uv rays/activated carbon filter to reduce the chemicals.

to use membrane filter as outside filter will cause clogging very quickly judging by our water quality, and hence cost more for filter replacement.

Bacfree is good, i know it coz i'm using one. I put one normal water 1micron filter in my house and the filter never turn yellowish evn after 3months, so i think my bacfree does a good job. Just that it's quite expensive lah.

Any more suggestion? What about those aquafree, wateq... some as cheap as RM500.

I'm using bacfree too. Cost about RM3,500. If you have the budget go for it. Made of stainless steel and can last life time and low maintenance. Otherwise you can try to look for other brands but I'm not sure as I've never used them. Maybe other people can post their experience.

Use the membrane type for outdoor filter. They are the best available costing RM2K or less. The rest are craps. Don't use Delco stainless steel rocket type. They are the crapest. I have dumped it away after a few years of using. The sand filtration always got into my water tank and the filtered water is not that clean.

I have been a user of Bacfree since 2004 when I bought a house in Cheras. After much browsing and searching, I decided on Bacfree outdoor and under the sink filter as the product was the best in the market even though the price was much much higher than the rest of the rocket type outdoor filter available in the market.

I visited their HQ showroom in Subang Jaya and like their service provided by Ms. Peggy whom sadly had retired.

The installer a Mr.Yong was a great guy and was very professional and friendly whom sadly had also retired.

In total, I have installed 4 filters for my house and my mom’s house.

On Thursday 1st December 2011 morning, I called up their HQ to order a replacement of the indoor filter element as well as to fix a leaky outdoor filter.

That’s when I found out Mr. Yong and Ms. Peggy had retired and the beginning of a lousy service by Bacfree.

First of all, my call was picked up without any greetings and the tone of voice was like me owing her million of dollars!!

Ms. Peggy was much more courteous and sounded nicer.

The lady a Mrs. Soong had set the appointment for today (Saturday 10-12-2011). The time?

I was told to wait from morning to 1 pm.

Fine as I was not planning to go anywhere either.

I took the courtesy to call their HQ and to my biggest surprise I was told by Mrs. Soong that their coordinator had messed up and nobody is coming today!!

After keeping me on hold for ages, I was told that their service people could only come on Tuesday!!

Sigh…..imagine the agony of wasting my time waiting if I have not called and “remind” them about my appointment.

After around of ding-dong and “call me backs”, the service people are miraculously available to come today but will be late.

The best part is yet to come.

I then made a call to the big boss a Mr. Kee at 019-2213993 as his number was on my outdoor filter to raise a complaint with him.

FYI, his face is on all Bacfree ads and when I first bought the filters, I was told that I could call him day or night should be any problem.

Well, the number was still his but he had given me an even bigger disappointment.

I was told by Mr. Kee the followings:-

1. his staff only human and will make mistake.
2. since they had arrange for someone to come, I should accept it.
3. his staff already say sorry
4. he had sold 30,000 to 40,000 filters and cannot control everything
5. I’m very lucky because for new filter sold, his personal phone number is no longer printed.
6. I have already made a complaint to him and move on with my life

Pardon my following language:-

WHAT THE HELL SERVICE IS THIS!!!

So, for all new buyers of Bacfree please take note, although the product is good, the service is pathetic.

If anyone from Bacfree thinks that this is from a loser competitor, please feel free to check your records. I;m very very sure Mrs. Soong and Mr. Kee will remember my order.

Sounds like a complaint to me wink.gif But guess Bacfree people still leaving in dinosaur age where the CEO is too outdated to check this online. smile.gif

Hmm interesting topic.
I had a lecturer Dr. Chai telling us about water filter while teaching us chemistry.
She say right now in the market they have several types of water filtration.
Reverse osmosis and sand filter.
Both of them work well but the difference between these two is:
1) RO can filter water without wastage of water but has a shorter lifespan
2) Sand filter filter water but waste water but it has a longer lifespan.

This is what I heard.
Don't flame me if I get my facts wrong .
Thx

DON'T EVER BUY DELCOL WATER FILTER not the RO indoor type but the OUTDOOR filter. Mine does not work from day one I bought it. Ask them to repair and after 4 attempts at checking and even replacing sand filters inside still doen't work sad.gif but after that they never bother to respond after several calls to even their management - some guy by the name of Brian.

So my advice - DON'T EVER BUY DELCOL WATER FILTER (OUTDOOR TYPE). PERIOD

I'm preferred an outdoor water filter with NSF certification. But 3M AP 902/903 doesn't have much features compared to other non-NSF products (example, remove bacteria). It's been 1 week since I do my own research. And some of the outdoor filter doesn't have a working website. rclxub.gif rclxub.gif rclxub.gif

For outdoor, you dont have to filter bacteria, Voc and etc as it is for mainly for laundry and showering, not for drinking. The criteria that u need to look for an outdoor filter is durability, good performance (5 microns is good enough) and ez maintenance.

U can get a filter that claims that they can filter 0.1microns or etc but when it enters ur pipe line and the water tank, it wont be that clean anymore. Therefore 5 microns is good enough. Do becareful as well bcoz some filters claim that they can filter 1 microns, 2microns are for the first 1,000 litres and not averagely 1 microns for the whole time.

Just received an email from the 3M representatives, cannot use AP903 because of the products reduce chlorine which may produce bacteria cry.gif

Got other alternatives such as Aquasana which are certified by NSF .. but it's over RM 4K doh.gif doh.gif doh.gif

Now, have to go back to AP902 ... time to ask the 3M reseller back for discount as standard installation cost RM 180 doh.gif

in malaysia, we only have AP902. AP903 is with carbon while AP902 is without, therefore more suitable for us

I recommend you to use Beyond Water Bio-Active Reforming System. It just not eliminate the bacteria, but it also produce magnetized water. the price is also quite cheap for a good quality. email me if interested, evolusi.jitu@gmail.com

Just receive quote for Outdoor Filter (Auto Flushing System):

1. Janzten RM2088
2. Puregen RM1500

Both looks the same, but Janzten too expensive and not only that, have to service them every 6 months and it's chargeable for RM500 for One Year.. Damn farking expensive lor.. this Janzten..

As far as i know, this Auto Flushing System does not need Service that frequently..correct?

Water distillers are the best type of water purification or water filtration devices. Water distillers produce the purest water amongst the entire water filters available in the market. For getting more information about water filtrations methods read the blog http://www.megahome-distillers.co.uk/blog/...water-distiller

what would be ideal and value for money? I am not going for thos eunder direct selling as their margins are shared out (nothing wrong with that) But I do see many are just OEM and they put their own house brand to it.

So, Should I now go for outdoor filter/rocket (even torpedo) type
- Pentair 935 model for just RM899
OR
- Waterco model at rm1550
- or bacfree at rm2500..(not in favor after reading their boss' reply to a legit complaint on aftersales servcie...

Anyone can advise please...

My concerns are
- warranty issue
- aftersales service.

Thank you.
