sorry but i find that greek gods are better than horse-riding power rangers...this game who is the enemy?since they are the starter of the apocalypse,then the devil should be the enemy,aye?

That's why I said the plot is stupid, the 4 horse man indicate the 4 great disaster to mankind, but this game makes them good guys and fight the 'evil'. But I'm sure i gonna enjoy the gameplay man~~

According to the bible 4 horsemen are unleashed by God himself, as harbingers of last judgment. So the horsemen are not precisely 'evil'?

The developer is WOW-tard,lulz...

The characters are all designed by Joe Madureira - if you've followed his work, his style has always been like this since his days as the artist on Uncanny x-men in the 90s. I would say he's one of my favourite x-men artists. If anything the blizzard artists have probably been influenced by his style.

What happened to this game?

Its suppose to be launch in June but I don't see any launching.

Is it delayed or canceled?

I tried the official page but there is no update on the PC release since April.

Darksiders PC Delayed (But Will Come In A Fancy Box)



The PC version of Darksiders isn't going to make June. It's been pushed back to September.

Bummer! On the bright side, the delay may be made more palatable by the fact PC owners will be able to snap up a "Hellbook Edition" of the game, which comes in a fancy box and includes some art cards, a comic book, soundtrack and art book.

Publisher THQ's British site lists a date of September 24; if we hear anything different for the US, we'll let you know.

I bought this game for PS3 last week.. play till lvl 29 laio.. damn hard la... alwys have to c youtube walkthrough to get pass the lvl puzzle n oso boss..
Have abt 100 lvls all together.. damn.. its getting harder n harder.. even i play Easy mode..
Thinking of selling it off liao..

It's more of an Action Adventure. It takes from a lot of games. Most notably God of War, it has the exploration of the 3D Zelda titles, apparently.

the boss fight is kinda hard, and puzzle also challenging.
the pace is kinda slow for some parts, but truly enjoyable.

I only played the demo, but the demo also covers a lot of grounds, up to 2 hours playing demo only.

but on pc, sure will look more chun

Nolar.. last time i'm a hard core gamer for Nintendo console..
Megaman, Ninja Gaiden 2, GI joe, Mario, batman, Castlevania..

All i played till complete..

PS2 devil may cry 1-3 i oso play till end.. Only devil may cry 4 pc version i stuck and stop play..

Just bought ps3 last week oso but the gamer feeling for play those puzzle game is lesser ady..
coz nowdays work ady less time 2 play ... so kinda no much mood to play long coz wanna zzz or do other stuff..
normally play abt 1 hr+ abit only.. if keep dying or stuck den damn sien la.. k.. will try play agin...

Tats why i prefer play fast direct game like Dota or HOns.. but its a team game.. if other ppl sux den sure lose oso.. lol..

Its nice to have a fancy packaging but what worries me the most is what changes are they doing to the game that warrant such a delay?

Does the PC version have extra PC exclusive content? Does the game offers extensive customization for pc? Will the game have better graphics? That is what concern me the most.

I just hope they don't follow Transformers: War for Cybertron's 30fps lock thing.

Porting it to the PC? Porting coding consists of millions of lines of code translated to different programming languages, new programming challenges and whatnot. It's not uncommon to see things like this taking a few months or even years.

one thing to say is that this is a good game especially the plot...

Should be a great game. No bullshiet stealth crap, ride ur undead badass horse and slash up anything that moves for breakfast.

However do note that the general reaction from the critique community is either love or hate.

Probably get it thru Steam.

Too lazy to have physical copies these days.

It is also easier to manage and install patches/updates. Portable too I've steered away from physical copy long long time ago..

Same here, not to mentioned it's generally really cheap during sales.

this game is steam work anyway, can be activate via steam

Bear in mind, platforming and puzzle solving takes up as much time as combat for this game. Completed this on my xbox.

Don't expect this to be similar to God of War.

the disk usage of the game is 9972mb as shown in my steam client.
And for the graphic settings , you can only adjust resolution and vsync

maybe u can find the config file..

the config file is encrypted. i have to switch backmy old lcd and go ingame to switch the res to 1024x768

then switch back my 32" lcd only manage to play the game at this res

Hopefully a patch will allow higher resolution. Or someone will hack the config file and change the resolution. Seriously, do games these days usually encrypt config file? I remember messing with config files, but I cant remember what kind of game it was

it could be due to console port, the game just crash on me

i have crashed once. It's sad to see that the optimization is not what we expected even after such a delay but the gameplay is solid as console. It's fun to play.

Anyone crashing playing this game? My GC overheated to over 90 celcius playing this game? Any fix? Anybody know how to throw object, I can pickup but can't throw, I dont know which button to press, according to the game screen, its Mouse button 3?

I''m thinking of getting this game... I read the review, but seriously i feel fun about this game. Dont know why ( Maybe I like devil may cry like type of games ). I don't care about graphic quality. As long it is fun to play. ( Right now I still play final fantasy 7 block human haha ).
