A friend approached Three King and end up dropped them for the reason of VERY slow respond time from the sales person....like don't bother to do business..

QUOTE(clickNsnap @ May 11 2015, 11:01 AM) Hi all, Powder coating finishing is definitely way more better and smoother than normal spray paint not to mention its last longer. I was informed by contract that powder coated grille is hard to touch-up by paint during installation (welding & knocking), he suggested to use spray painted grille instead. Is this truth? Thanks. There shouldn't be any welding job during installation as installer should have complete the unit and just delivery to the destination for installation only... a minor touch up can be done on the scene in case the surface got scratch during transportation.... |

QUOTE(knight_kriss @ Jul 13 2015, 09:29 AM) i was quote rm3400 for 15x5 steel gate with powder coating...is it worth it or too expensive?? Better go for wrought iron or stainless steel material. Steel will rust in no time as it expose to rain and sunlightthe design is similar to this, except the leaves is bigger: |

QUOTE(knight_kriss @ Jul 13 2015, 10:55 AM) already ask around...wrought iron is similar strength with normal steel....for me, better spend money get thick steel for safety purpose..and powder coat for longer protection from rust Should be around this price now with material cost increased. Why not stainless steel straight ?just i wanna know whether rm3400 is correct price for the gate, or is it too much?? |

QUOTE(nutella @ Nov 11 2015, 03:05 PM) 1.0mm and 1.6mm very big difference to the pencuri or not? its all about how much you afford and willing to pay since its ONE time only... the price is about 40% difference, worth to do? I was recommended, only use thicker on the FRAME not the center vertical and horizontal panel since if the theft wanna korek they will start from the side or the hinges area...overall u r making thing HARDFER for them its your call...want better stainless steel lor. |

QUOTE(nutella @ Nov 12 2015, 07:02 AM) thanks for ur advice. for outter frame I'm using 25mm x 50mm x 1.2mm... is it standard? or could be thicker? There isn't any so call 'standard', depend on the vendor offer and how much price they want to make out from you as well base on your request (if you are someone know the thickness)...by the way, for stainless steel, rm40 per sqft, is the price reasonable? (for small window only) stainless steel main ppl use it for maindoor, aside stronger, cosmetically also nicer....windows no need la (usually) choice, decision, money is all yours... |
